Chapter 1

David Gordon Sat Down in a Lazy Boy Recliner and Flipped on the Television Set. There was not much on at that time. It was one am on Tuesday the 17 of December. There were only a few more days left till Christmas came and the Shopping Frenzy Began.
David though to himself, Maybe I should have picked up all the Christmas Presents earlier in the week. McKenzie, Im Sure of, has already wrapped up every thing that she planed to give out on Christmas.
David Worked at Las Angelus Museum of Fine Arts, along with McKenzie Moore. David was the President, and the Main CEO of the Museum. The main Genre of the Artifacts was from the Medieval Period. At lest that what David was trying to get going. One of the major accomplishments from David Gordon was the procure of a simple small Jewel that laid in tight Security.
The Jewel itself dated back to the 1338 but was given to France Government when Charles VII was the King of France. Charles was the son of Charles VI. He became king of France in 1422 when his father died. Charles VII crowned at Rheims in a Cathedral.
The Jewel Was brought to Charles from Louis XI, who was later going to become the King of France himself. The Jewel was found in a battlefield in the 100 years war during the 1300s. The Jewel was handed down to different generations of the royal family. It was only now that it was sold.
David Gordon didnt set it out to display in the Museum under normal conditions. The Jewel was made out of some kind of metallic material that no scientist has yet to decide what it is.
The Value of the Jewel itself was worth maybe two million American dollars. David bought it for around that same price. The museum itself was very pleased to obtain such a precious piece of work from the 13th century.
David Gordon Finally found a Television show that was coming on at 1:30. it was a history based show over castleguard, which was another castle in the medieval time period.
It was getting later in the night, and David turned off his Television set to go to bed. Unlike most people, David didnt have to get to work by 9am. He could arrive anytime and do just about anything. He was paid to obtain Different things for the museum and lead the company. Of course he is the CEO and no one was there that was higher than him to fire him.
