I voted for Gillian Anderson.
But it was hard to choose between Gates McFadden

I voted someone I have never heard of. Know acters salleries are very high, but if you cast someone who has not made a name for themselves it is cheeper.

So they will cast some little known actor so they can spend more money on the special afects.

I would like Kate Mulgrew again but out of them on the poll, I would say either Roxann Dawson, Jeri Ryan or someone I haven't heard of, i.e. me, The first 15 year old captain!

I said Gillian Anderson, though I doubt that she would be one, I would just like her to be one. The next female captain would most likely be someone I have never heard of
(BTW: Her name is spelled "Gillian" not "Jillian" thought I should just point that out )

I don't think it'll be any of the above. Lucy Lawless will get the job first. The lady that played " Euphraia " on the holodeck on Voyager (Heroes and Demons) might be a choice. The beautiful blonde that played " Calesto " on Xena might be a choice, too. There may even be a black female captain next time around... something to consider. Lucy Lawless will be my choice for now.

I think the producers a star trek series with a female captain would want someone new. I think it's more exciting to get used to a new Captain, then to see people you recognize in a similiar series.

I went with Gates McFadden, just bc I like her work--but it'd be interesting to see a new person in the role.

PostMon Dec 01, 2003 10:43 am    Janeway

Personally I think that Janeway was the most suitable captain in Starfleet history. I think that, to start off the next series (taking place after Voyager) with at least a 5 or 6 episodes with Janeway working to create a new ship, this will be a great beginning to another wondrous journey.

I think Jolene Blalock would make a GREAT captain. She's shown a lot of poise and leadership when she has command of Enterprise.

PostFri Dec 26, 2003 5:00 pm    Seven

of coures Seven would be Captain way better than Janeway. Seven is smart and has all the knowledge from every speicies she has assimalated. plus Seven is the hottest character I would pick her captain over anyone

but I would rather be Captain a 13 year old sounds interesting but I am a guy so I guess I couldn't be to bad I'm almost crying right now.lol

what are you talking about Janeways good but she always does stupid stuff Voyager would be destroyed with her as Captain the only reason its not is cause the makers had to keep the show going if it was real life they would be toast with her as Captain.

i so disagree with you. she is like the complete star fleet package that there could be. she was given admiral befor she had even a 2nd command unlike picard.
