A small light of rememberance just pinged (been ages since i watched) Sisko arrived at the...prophets,and when he asked about Dukat they told him he was with the pah wraiths. If im remembering correctly. So yeah, technically both are in a non corporeal plane of existance, except Sisko can come back ...i think

Meh,maybe we should wait around for Pah-Wraith,he`s the expert on all things DS9

original ? yes.But now im starting to see a ST x-men version.Picard could still be a proffesor Xavier type ;D

Lol, well they did make a Star Trek The Next Generation and X-Men crossover book where all the characters from the two series joined forces. I never read it though; I don't like superheroes and stuff and so the book never appealed to me.

Sisko is "due to return" this Winter time in the DS9 relaunch book "Unity". I didn't put that as a spoiler because it says as much on the bok cover itself

What really gets to me is the fact that the Avatar book series are Non-Canon and therefore don't really help by giving us false information about DS9

Yeah, that's true...I tend to think of them as being more canon than the other numbered novels though. Since there's unlikely to be something in the future (short of a movie) that'll contradict the relaunch, I think of them as being just as canon as on the series. Mind you, if they do release a DS9 movie, they'll probably just blow all the continuity established by the relaunch out of the window

So, if there is a movie, in the long-run the books won't count for much anyway lol.

I hope you're right

the prospect of a Ds9 Movie sounds great but like the conclusion we've all come to in past topics I doubt it'll happen.. and if doesn't I'll just take the DS9 relaunch books as canon

I don't think either one is terribly likely, given DS9's oft-overlooked status and ENT's low ratings.

In a dream, the Trek franchise would donate all their money to JMS who would create a series set in the "Babylon 5" which, unlike "Crusade" and "Legend of the Rangers" would be on par with the original Babylon 5.

Sorry, think I was dreaming there...

I think any DS9 movie would be good--especially if they found a way to bring back Jadzia.

I dont think bringing back Jadzia is realistic. I also dont think a DS9 movie is realistic, since the actors are all doing different things. I think the next movie bound to happen, is probably an Enterprise movie. Wouldnt it be badass to have a movie in the middle of the series?

Morgan, there are several ways they could bring back Jadzia.. I doubt they'll happen but they could!

1)Ezri has that Trill Ceremony Zhian Tara and Jadzia would either appear as an Image only visible to her (like Joran did) or Jadzia could go into the Body of one of Ezri's friends.
2)The Mirror Universe Jadzia, need I say more?

Yeah, and they can all connect together and make one big super ship like Battle of the Planets.
