I wasn't sure if this was the place to post this but anyway:
I was just watching T-3 for the 3rd time when it hit me, in the first movie when sarah connor crushes the first terminator nothing happens but in the third movie terminator sais when one of his plasma cells rupture they explode(which we view moments later). So my question is why don't the plasma cells explode when sarah connor crushes the original terminator or is this just something the writers didn't think about?

The T-800-101 series that is in the T-3 movie is probably more advanced than the T-800 from the first T-1 I think I remember him saying in either one or two he had a battery that last a few years.

I believe in T-3, that's a T-850, not a T-800.

Well maybe they got crushed before they exploded. I dunno. There was some electricity flying around but nothing too serious.
