Wed Nov 19, 2003 7:47 pm Episode: "Enterprise - Similitude" |
|
Episode No: 062
Original Air Date: 11.19.2003
Upcoming Air Date: 11.19.2003
Brief Description:
"When Trip suffers a catastrophic injury, his only hope for survival is a transplant from a "mimetic simbiot" which Phlox grows from one of his exotic creatures."
Synopsis (highlight to read):
Quote: | "After an accident in Engineering leaves Trip mortally injured, Dr. Phlox attempts to save the chief engineer by creating a "mimetic simbiot" a clone of him to harvest neural tissue from it. In its very short lifespan, the simbiot grows rapidly from baby to adult, and surprises the crew with detailed memories of the real Trip's life. Meanwhile, the accident has left Enterprise disabled and adrift inside a destructive space cloud, so the crew attempts to free the ship before they are stranded forever." |

Dang... that was pretty good. Emotional. Much better done than Tuvix.
Last few weeks have been pretty good for Enterprise.

Well I liked the opening of this episode even though it was immediately obvious that the real trip didn't die and wasn't going to, the episode remained fairly emotional and did manage to make me actually care about what happened to "sim", it also raised alot of moral and eithical issues that plague todays sociaty. All in all a very good episode , season 3 is without a doubt the strongest so far hopefully it can maintain this momentum
Overall: 8.6/10

This was my favorite Enterprise so far. I found it to be better than "Tuvix" as well from VGR, although that was one of my top 5 VGR eps. Archer really showed strongly here, sticking to his guns and doing what he had to do. The finish was a tear-jerker, but it was certainly worth it. Good work by Enterprise over the past few weeks. Can't wait for the next couple of eps, they look interesting.

I thought this was a really neato episode The only thing is that it helped to reinforce Archer's bad-ass attitude when he was saying he was willing to kill Sim to save Trip, kinda sick in away. But it was a really good ep anyhow.

This is like... the best episode of enterprise EVER! Wow... gosh, that was so sad when Sym died at the end I thot the kiss was sweet That was great when sym was in the shuttle bay and he was like "Where the he** was I gunna go?" hehe And then when he told trip "you owe me one" and then he dies and stuff...
