Fluidic space is an alternate universe in which instead of space being no matter ecept the planets space is now made of a biological fluid. It is also the home of species 8472.
Star Trek.com:
fluidic space a dimension apart from our universe, known only by its Borg designation because its self-ascribed name is unknown.
