Yeah, there is no safe city in a America. There is just one city that is safer than the rest. That is what the really mean by safest

The town I live in is incredibly safe. I live near Bangor, not in it. The only thing I have to fear around here is the animals that may be in the woods. I can't remember the last time this town had a crime.

Ummm... actually a town isn't a city. Maybe, if they have some investigation on which town is the safest, maybe your town will be the winner.
A city has to have so many thousands, to be considered a city... which you probably know. I just thought I'd bring it up anyway.
And davecenter .... nicely said !

Our plane stopped off in Bangor to refuel when I went to America years ago.
I think it was Bangor anyway, it's the place with a crap load of trees right?
Slash_Gordon I don't know about the U.S. but in Britain to become a city, a town must build a Cathedral.

Thanks slash, and by the way, you are way right. A town, just by its small population, is on the average incredibly safer than a city. Part of the reason for this is that in a town, almost everybody knows everybody, and a close watch is kept on the newcomers. Anyway, congrats Maine.

My town very may well be. But the city of Bangor is.
Alot of the Eastern Seaboard, especially the New England area has a "crap load of trees", but yeah, most overseas flights do stop in Bangor to refuel.

I blew it to bits. There were only feathers left. And it was a kamikaze bird, not my fault,

Thats rather graphic, I must say. And what are the chances of a person hitting a flying bird? I mean, really.

The chances are very good for those who know how to shoot, actually. The question should be what are the chances of said bird flying into a moving bullet? Minimal. But, eh, that's what happened. I like birdies,

No. I was shooting at a target, about 200 yards away, the bird got between it and me. I swear it wasn't there when I pulled the trigger.
