I think it would boost the rating if Charles Trip Tucker died in an episode of enterprise then he is replaced by another starfleet officer.

Totally,  , porthos is the best thing about enterprise shame about the limited tv time  , he is easily the best actor by a mile

Lol, saying that I saw the Porthos episode "A Night in Sickbay" last week and it was awful! Mind you, it wasn't because of Porthos, it was because it was so boring...the "B" Plot was a bit daft as well IMO although it was good to see some continuity from a past episode.

:O Sacrilagous! OK I know that's probably not spelt right but wth lol. I don't really see why they put Porthos on in the first place; I was wondering where does he do his poopeys n stuff? Surely it just makes a mess. Still, I wouldn't want to see him killed or anything! lol.

In all honesty, I think Enterprise is OK...it's the writing quality and the stories that spoil it. I never watched TNG and occasionally I catch the odd episode and already I'm seeing strong similiarities between it and Enterprise. Last week for example, I saw the episode where Ro and Geordi were like ghosts...this instantly reminded me of the episode where Hoshi gets transported for the first time...I don't know; maybe it's just me but I think that if they just got some fresh writers to make some fresh stories then I think we'd get a "fresh" show.

Well, I wouldn't want to see him killed either but come on, ensign porthos saves the crew? Porthos is the best character? Etc etc, these are things I've actually heard people say plus, Trip is cuter than Porthos any day...

Lol well I wouldn't go as far as to say he's my favourite character...that would probably go to Hoshi despite getting very little screen-time. I wouldn't know about Trip being cute; I'm a lad.
