Lol, he's being sarcastic I think.
Deep Space Nine is the third Star Trek series set on a Federation-run, Cardassian-made ore processing space station which is set at the mouth of a "wormhole" - a passage through space that leads to another corner of the galaxy. Starfleet set up DS9 as a base from which to launch exploration missions into the "Gamma Quadrant". All was fine and nice until they met the Dominion.
They didn't like the Dominion much and decided that they should kick their asses. Also, they thought it might help dying ratings Although maybe I shouldn't say that
Anyway, that took up the last few years of the show with the Federation trying to repel a Dominion invasion of the Alpha Quadrant (where Earth is). It lasted 7 years like the other series. It also featured some EXCELLENT special effects. If you can, try and get hold of episode "Sacrifice of Angels". IMO, it put the battle in Nemesis to shame

No Offense intended Retarded but Is Deep Space Nine a series is a pretty pointless question, and I feel that The Delta Flyer has answered your question.
This Topic is Locked because it has been answered and I feel this question really has no point [Moderator]
