New New Frontier books...finally. Anybody else read "God's Above", "Stone and Anvil" or "No Limits" yet? Thank God Peter David is back in the NF world.

I've read Gods Above. Very good, as usual.

I'm trying to decide in regards to the other two. One's a hardcover, the other's a trade paper back. Both more expensive than mass market paperbacks.

I'll get them eventually, but perhaps not right away.

What's the difference between a Trade Paperback and a Mass Market Paperback? I've seen them referred to on Amazon but never known the difference...

A TPB is bigger. Look at the size of No Limits or Prophecy and Change (TPB), vs Gods Above or the majority of Trek books (MMPB).

So was the Voyager "Endgame" novel a Trade Paperback? That was slightly larger than a standard book...the same for "The Expanse"? I think I know what you mean.

I was reading a review of the two latest New Frontier books the other day. Said the one by Peter David was really good and definately worth getting. The anthology one was not so good; I got the impression it was a bit mundane though David's story in it was good nonetheless.

I've heard that the next hardback released has all the previous New Frontier books included in the form of e-books. Hang on a minute, it could be the S.C.E...sorry lol...fat lot of good it was me stating that lol...
