WWE RAW Results (10/13): Stacy Drunk; Booker T; & More!
October 13, 2003
Live from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's Mellon Arena
Aired on Spike TV
Report by Ryan Clark of ProWrestlingSCOOPS.com

Raw is live tonight from the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Backstage, Terri talks to Ric Flair and Orton. Terri asks why no one has collected the bounty. Flair says cause the right person has shown up to collect the bounty today. Falir also says he torn his hamstring. They find Shawn Michaels, and Flair tells Shawn that he can still be the greatest, and how he didn't like Michaels being manhandled the last couple of weeks. He tells Shawn to be the great one he once was. He tells Shawn to blow the roof off the place. He tells him to be the "Heartbreak Kid". Flair offers Shawn more money to take out Goldberg, and we fade to the RAW credits.

JR and Lawler welcome us to RAW. JR and Lawler still harp on the Kane incident from last week...

We get cut off by Jericho and Christian in the ring. Jericho says that all this is Austin's fault to huge heat. Jericho says Christian and himself will not stop till Austin gets recalled. Stone Cold has gone stone cold crazy, and Jericho is livid. We get a clip from a house show, and Jericho says Test broke his foot in two places cause of a match Stone Cold booked against Shane. Christian is also upset over the fact the Kane and Test have to suffer because of Shane and Austin. Shane's music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Shane grabs the mic and tells Christian and Jericho not to drag him into this Austin recalling thing. Shane says Test and Kane is a result of him... and calls them cry babies. La Resistance comes down minus Sylvan, and Conway trash talks Shane. Conway says Stone Cold is the problem... Jericho says they want to send Austin a message, and all four attack Shane. Jericho straps the walls on Shane... and the Dudleyz run down... and clear the ring. Buh Buh gets on the mic and tries to act cool, and comes off as cool as a parking lot puddle. The heels huddle, and Jericho says three of them against the four of them? No.

Backstage, someone tries to run over Goldberg... I swear, more people almost get run over on WWE TV then in the US alone.

We see Goldberg almost get run over again.

RVD's music hits, and Mr. Monday Night heads to the ring. Steiner comes out next with Stacy. Steiner gets a chair and tells Stacy to hold it until he asks for it. Steiner trash talks RVD, and RVD taunts back, only to recieve a kick in the gut. RVD is thrown into the turnbuckle, and chopped and then gets belly to bellied. Steiner gives him more chops, and punches, and delivers a clothesline. Steiner does pushups and goes after RVD with boots... RVD fights back with a split legged moonsault. Punches to Steiner, and Steiner suplexes RVD again. Steinr asks for the chair... and Stacy refuses to give it to him. RVD kicks Steiner, and gets him down. RVD boots Steiner some more, and gives him a kick from the top rope. RVD nails a rolling thunder, and Steiner rolls outside. RVD kicks Steiner, and Steiner pulls him off the apron. The men roll around outside... and Steiner tries to nail RVD with a chair. RVD throws Steiner a chair, and attempts to kick Steiner, but Steiner ducks and nails RVD with the chair. The ref DQ's Steiner, and he chases Stacy into the ring. Steiner goes to drill Stacy with the chair, but Stone Cold's music hits, and he comes down and asks Steiner what he's doing. Austin tells Steiner not to hit a woman, and if he wants to hit someone he should hit Austin... Steiner stands, as Austin begs Steiner to hit him. He now dares Steiner, and double dog dares him... Steiner gives Austin a right hand, and Austin falls to the mat and smiles. Austin gets up and starts punching Steiner... Austin throws Steiner into the steel steps, as Stacy smiles in delight. Austin beats on Steiner, and throws Steiner back into the ring. Steiner uses Stacy as a shield and makes his escape. Steiner asks for beer, and gives one to Stacy, and Stacy rejects the beer. Austin gets another beer, and Stacy rejects it again... so Austin opens it for her. Stacy takes a sip and starts making gagging faces... so Austin kicks Stacy in the gut and stuns her. Austin leaves as Stacy lays in the ring.

Flair comes out and joins JR and Lawler at the announce booth. Maven comes down, entrance and all. Rico comes down next with Miss Jackie. There's a dude announcer today... where is Lilian? Rico starts with a kick and clubs to Maven. Rico hits an uppercut and tries to pin. Maven is taken down in the corner again, and gets tangled in the rope. Miss Jackie slaps Maven, and Rico continues to work on Maven. Maven starts fighting back, and gets Rico down. Maven backbody drops Rico, and nails a spinning heel kick. Maven goes up top and hits a face buster for the 1-2-3. Flair runs down to the ring, he was faking the injury. He attacks Maven with his crutch and chokes Maven out. Flair rips his shirt opens, I almost throw up, and Flair leaves.

Rosie is shown in the back dressed as a reporter, he finds Lance Storm. He asks Storm for a photo for some paper and Storm, who is wearing a Hurricane shirt allows him. Before he can snap the picture, Hurricane shows up and tells Lance, "nice shirt." Lance leaves.
Hurricane tells Rosie that the local orphanage has a problem, the people put caffeine in the babies milk and they have gone crazy! Rosie says he is going to the locker room to change! Hurricane tells him that super heroes don't change in locker rooms. Rosie asks "then where do they change?" Hurricane points to a weirdly placed phone booth in the corner. Rosie is shown by himself struggling to get in the phone booth and when he does finally get in it's damn near impossible for him to change. Hilarious stuff!

The Dudley's head to Shane's locker room and tell him that they have a match tonight against LA RESISTANCE, Y2J, and Christian. They then tell him that they get a partner of their choice and the match will be a tables match!

Goldberg shown in the back talking to some dude telling him to keep his eyes open. As he stands there, something drops from above nearly landing on Goldberg. Who dun it? Who is going after Goldberg??

Twice tonight someone has tried to take out Goldberg and he is NOT happy.
Goldberg tells people that if they want to collect the bounty, to come and get it. The fans cheer as if they want to get it themselves!

THEY THINK I'M CUTE, THEY THINK I'M SEXY...it's HBK, is he responding to Goldberg's challenge?

Goldberg tells HBK that what they say about him is true. HBK leads the people to believe he is here for the money, but he tells Goldberg he only wants an explanation. More chatter about the spear last week..

The two are about to fight, but Tommy Dreamer attacks Goldberg with a Kendo stick. Goldberg spears him for his efforts and HBK picks up the stick... Flair to the ring who grabs a mic and tells HBK to do it, DO IT NOW!

HBK thinking about it, Mark Henry to the ramp, he says the money is his. Flair still going nuts asking HBK to do it! Bischoff comes out!

Jesus, too many people in one place!

Bischoff makes a handicapped match for tonight: Goldberg and HBK vs. Orton, Henry, and Flair.

Good luck Bill.

How the hell do I call this match? I haven't done this in years!?

Jericho, Christian and La Resistance to the ring all together at 800 something pounds.

Dudley music, they come by themselves.. Shane to the ring by himself... who is their partner??

CAN YOU DIG IT SUCKA?????????

Booker T is back!

He wastes no time as he starts against Y2J. He takes him down a few times, hits a spin kick and chops him in the corner many many times. Y2J counters a whip only to get clotheslined. Tag by Booker to Bubba. Bubba in control, nails Jericho with the punches and bionic elbow. Jericho tags Dupree, Bubba still in wild control, calls in D-Vo, tag made.

D-Von keeps control over Dupree as he hits him with a bulldog out of the corner, a shot by Jericho gives Dupree the upper hand. Conway tagged in (Sylvian is not part of the match)Conway in control, tags Christian who then tags Jericho.. good team work by the heels. Jericho with a back body drop on D-Von. The heels continue to take turns on D-Von Dudley. Jericho eventually tagged back in as he works on D-Von who finally turns things around with a huge shoulder tackel. Both men tag out!

Bubba all over La Resistance with back body drops and Samoan drops. Shane hits the ring and the heels try to leave. Shane attacks Christian and RVD from behind! It is now officially a mess all over the place. Shane ALL OVER Y2J. The heels get back in the corner and wish bone Shane, things are back in order. Shane clotheslined to the outside. The heels set up a table, a mosh pit of people outside the ring!

The teams recover as the show goes to a break..

When we get back, Shane is in the ring isolated getting beat upon. Shane gets a break, but he can't tag out.. Shane gets beat on horrible for some 5 more minutes. Y2J with a sleep hold drop into a headlock on the floor. "Who's the king now?"

Shane FINALLY gets the upper hand with a wicked DDT. Booker T wants the tag...and he gets it!

Booker T cleaning house, he hits a scissors kick on Y2J. For some reason the ref doesn't keep any of the heels from coming to the ring? Christian with a cheap shot, Booker T back on top until a low blow which is legal. Bubba in the ring, he gives Christian a Bubba Bomb. Jericho nails Bubba with a trash can. D-Von nails Jericho with a curtain cal ltype move. Everyone going back and forth...Eventually, Dupree in the corner, Shane hits the Van Terminator with the trash can Booker T placed on Duprees face.

The Dudleys go mad, they call for the tables, they get wood and knock Christian out who tried a baseball slide! Table in the ring, Jericho with a French flag though teakes out D-Von and Bubba. Spike comes to the ring! He give Jericho the Dudley Dog. Dudley's set up a 3-D through a table but Conway saves the day but for his efforts, he gets a Book End Smack through the table! What a match!

Winners: Booker T, the Dudley Boys, and Shane O Mac

WWE then runs down the live events held this past weekend. They apparently had camera's at these events and showed the footage on RAW. GREAT Move WWE!

Rosey is still in the damned phone booth!
Celebration continues in the ring as everyone is trying Spin-a-roonies. Coach comes out and says he has something more important to say. He shows a clip of Kane from last week. Shane grabs the mic from Coachman and says that the only thing that is brutal are coach's interviewing skills. Shane has the Dudley's and Booker T remove Coach from the ring. Shane interviews Kane who is still outcold in a hospital. Shane says he wants to settle this thing once and for all.

Shane goes crazy on the mic. Kane heart rate picks up tremendously and the doctors say he is going into cardiac arrest. Shane tells him the only thing he heard when the limo hit the truck was Kane crying like a little bitch. This ignites Kane, who sits up (even though he is in cardiac arrest) and he grabs the doctors and punishes them badly. Somewhere down the line his monitor flatlines, but he is still going?!?

6 women in one ring! Trish Stratus, Lita, and Ivory vs. Victoria, Gail Kim, and Molly Holly. Steven Richards came to the ring as well and even though I thought he was in the match, he was not.
The women fight, it is fun!

Trish makes her way to the ring midway through the match and she goes buckwild with a Hurricanranna, and many awesome moves. Trish and girls in control until Trish goes for the Stratusfaction and Steven interferes, Victoria gets a two count on Trish. Steven knocks Lita into the padded rail, Trish rolls up Victoria in the ring for a 3 count.

Winners: Trish, Lita, & Ivory

Victoria and Steven beat on Trish in the ring but Y2J comes to the rescue for some weird reason and takes out both Victoria and Stevie! He picks up Trish and touches her face in a sexy manner and leaves. What does THIS mean. I'm guessing it's because Austin didn't come out to stop it and Y2J wants to one up him!

Clips of Austin and Stacy earlier tonight, they get to the back where Austin runs into Y2J.
Y2J tells Austin he was just doing the right thing. He says he was treating the ladies with respect, something Austin cannot do. The blonde John guy who gave Austin a ticket awhile back asks Austin to look at a tape for him. Austin agrees to look at it. The guy says little johhny made the tape, Austin asks who little Johhny is and the guy says: "umm I.. I gotta go."

Austin then runs into Terri who asks if he called security yet to help Goldberg. Austin responds by saying "hell no I'm not calling security, I'm going to the local bar. After all that happened tonight I need consume as much alcohol as possible. Austin then walks by Rosie who is still in the damn phone booth. Austin says "damn, forget the bar I need alcohol right now!"

Shoot to Evolution locker room. Henry shows and ensures that the money will be his. Orton compliments Mark on his attempts to take out Goldberg. Henry said it wasn't him...

Will we find out who WAS attacking Goldberg? Will someone collect the bounty in tonight's main event?
All men come to the ring and they are ready to get underway.

Orton and HBK to start, he gets HBK early with rights, HBK responds with a clothesline and he heads outside to work on Henry.HBK back in the ring with fire. Orton tags flair. Lock up. HBK chops Flair like bad and hits a back body drop.

HBK all over everyone. Flair does he famous drop and calls for Goldberg who gets a tag. Flair chops Goldberg to no avail. Punches to no avail, Goldberg responds with punches and a body drop. Both men tag out, HBK and Orton back at it. Orton in control with a dropkick, he stomps HBK. Henry tagged in. He body presses HBK into a slam. HBK groaning in pain.

HBK whipped hard into the corner. Henry in total control. Tags in Flair.

Flair with a right hand, HBK laid out. Flair whips HBK to the corner and chops him like wild. Both men run into each other and fall down hard. Both going for a tag, Henry tagged, Goldberg tagged!

Goldberg all over Mark Henry, Flair, and Orton, body press to Orton, scoop slam to Henry. HBK off the top with an elbow onto Henry. Sunset plancha by HBK over the top onto Orton and Flair. Goldberg spears Henry and then Jackhammers him for the win!

Winners: Goldberg and HBK

goldberg and HBK sitting in the ring, SUPERKICK BY HBK, GOLDBERG LAID OUT!

Bischoff comes to the ring and says: "There's the Shawn Michael's we know!." HBK shakes his head implying that he isn't trying to take Goldberg out, only making it even. Bischoff books the two in a world title match next week against each other!

WWE No Mercy Results: New Talent & Champions; More!
Results by Ryan Clark of ProWrestlingSCOOPS.com
Location: Baltimore, Maryland

WWE No Mercy Opener:

The show opened up with footage, hyping up the match between Vince and Stephanie McMahon in the first ever father/daughter I Quit Match. If Stephanie loses the match, she's out as the General Manager of Smackdown!. If Vince loses, he'll be forced to step down as the Chairman of the WWE.

And the second part of the opening video featured the main event for the Heavyweight Championship with Brock Lesnar defending the title against the Undertaker in a special Biker Chain Match!

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

In the arena:

The fireworks went off as the official theme song for No Mercy played throughout the arena and that's "Today is the Day" by Dope!

Cruiserweight Championship Match
Referee: Brian Hebner
Rey Mysterio vs. Tajiri (c)

Tajiri's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as the Cruiserweight Champion for a title defense against Rey Mysterio, who Tajiri defeated to win the Cruiserweight Championship just four weeks ago. This past Thursday, Tajiri sprayed black mist into the face of Nidia and the commentators pointed out that she's suffering from impaired vision but unfortunately, it may be permanent.

The start:

Before the match started, Rey Mysterio asked the referee to check Tajiri for mist. Brian Hebner checked for it, but Tajiri had none in his mouth. Tajiri kicked at Mysterio to back him off at the start of the match and then the two locked it up in the center of the ring. Mysterio backed Tajiri towards the ropes but Tajiri powered Mysterio to the corner. Both men continued with the tie up until Tajiri flung himself through the ropes, pulling Mysterio down to the outside of the ring with him.

Mid-match notes:

Tajiri went for the handspring elbow but Rey Mysterio countered it with a drop kick to the back to send Tajiri to the outside of the ring. Rey Mysterio then jumped on Tajiri with a plancha over the top rope and then he picked Tajiri up and rolled him back into the ring.

Tajiri worked over the left arm of Rey Mysterio during the match.

Rey Mysterio headed to the top rope but Tajiri slowed him down with a stiff kick to the head. Tajiri then perched Mysterio on the ropes and went for a reverse arm bar from the ropes but Mysterio fought out of it, knocking Tajiri down with a headbutt. Rey then jumped off at Tajiri and caught him in a tornado DDT and then he pinned him but only got a two count.

Mysterio went for a springboard senton but Tajiri ducked it and then he kicked Mysterio in the gut. Mysterio then hooked the ropes and gave Tajiri the 619 to the gut and then he went for the West Coast Pop but Tajiri countered it into a devastating power bomb pin for a two count.

Tajiri put Rey Mysterio in the tarantula and held onto it as long as he could and then he went to the center of the ring for the kick of death but Mysterio ducked it. Tajiri went for a sunset flip but Mysterio rolled through and then gave Tajiri a drop kick to the face.

The finish:

Mysterio gave Tajiri a slingshot into the second rope and then he nailed Tajiri with the 619 to knock him back to the center of the ring. Rey then stood up and gave Tajiri the West Coast Pop and a couple guys (Jimmy Yang & Ryan Sakoda) tried to get into the ring but security and officials restrained them. As that was happening, Tajiri kicked Rey Mysterio in the head and then pinned him for the three count to retain the title.

Winner and still Cruiserweight Champion, Tajiri

Backstage:

Vince McMahon was shown backstage and Josh Matthews caught up with him and asked him how he's feeling about his match tonight? Vince said he's obviously not quite as nervous as Josh is holding that microphone. How is he feeling, what a stupid question to ask him. Doesn't he realize how deeply this hurts him to have to do this tonight. Doesn't he realize how personal this is? This is personal, yet at the same time it's business. You might say it's personal business and there's a number of individuals rooting against him, including Superstars on the roster. Vince then said that if anyone interferes in the match tonight, they will not be employed. Not just here, but for anybody ever again. He'll see to it. Vince then asked Josh what he wants to say now? He wants to say "thank you very much." Vince demanded that he say it and Josh uttered the words "thank you very much, Mr. McMahon."

Referee: Jim Korderas
A-Train vs. Chris Benoit

A-Train's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring for a one on one match against Chris Benoit.

The start:

Chris Benoit and A-Train locked it up in the center of the ring but A-Train immediately powered Chris Benoit to the corner where he told Benoit that he's nothing. Chris Benoit fought back with some right hands until A-Train knocked Chris Benoit to the outside of the ring with a shoulder block.

Mid-match notes:

During the match, there was a lot of talk about how Chris Benoit was trained in the Hart Dungeon, ran of course by Stu Hart who unfortunately passed away Thursday night.

With Chris Benoit down on the mat, A-Train grabbed him by the legs and gave him a slingshot into the bottom of the middle rope in what could be described as a decapitator.

A-Train hooked Chris Benoit in a butterfly suplex and instead of falling back, he sent Benoit forward onto A-Train's knee and then he pinned him for a two count. After the move, Chris Benoit was noticeably bleeding from the mouth.

A-Train whipped Chris Benoit off the ropes and Benoit came back by sliding under A-Train and then he kicked A-Train in the gut and planted him with a DDT.

A-Train grabbed a steel chair and brought it into the ring and then Benoit knocked it out of his hand by kicking him a number of times. A-Train lifted Chris Benoit above his head and Benoit tried to counter but he fell out of the hands of A-Train onto the steel chair, head first. (scary moment) A-Train then choked Chris Benoit and then he set the chair up in the corner.

To show that he's OK, Chris Benoit quickly battled back on A-Train and then he rolled A-Train down to the mat and put him in the Crossface. As A-Train started to break the hold, Chris Benoit grabbed A-Train by the waist and gave him a series of German suplexes. Chris Benoit then went to the top rope but A-Train yanked him down by pulling him to the center of the ring, sending him sailing to the mat.

A-Train mocked Chris Benoit and he started to go to the top rope but Chris Benoit got up and A-Train got back in the ring and gave Benoit the derailer and a pin for a two count.

The finish:

A-Train then went to kick Chris Benoit but Benoit moved and A-Train put his foot through the chair and Benoit went for the sharpshooter and he finally hooked it on after having troubles with A-Train's long legs. Chris Benoit forced A-Train to tap out to the sharpshooter to pick up the win!

Winner - Chris Benoit

Backstage:

Matt Hardy was shown backstage looking for Shannon Moore and he came across John Heidenrich, who was choking Shannon out because little Johnny told him that the tape was thrown in the trash. Matt claimed that it was Shannon Moore's tape that they got rid of, not his. Matt said that he's got his tape and you can rest assured that his tape will go to the new GM, whoever it may be. John said that he'll talk to little Johnny and find out what's going on here. Maybe he was wrong and he's sorry. He was over reacting, and Matt is still number one with little Johnny. Matt and Shannon then went on their way.

In the arena:

The ring announcer took the time to recognize all the brave and women who are in the audience and they are returning to the desert tomorrow to continue the fight of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The ring announcer asked everyone to rise and show their support and best wishes. Thank you.

Referee: Brian Hebner
Zach Gowen vs. Matt Hardy

Zach Gowen's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring and this is a one on one match with Gowen against Matt Hardy.

The start:

Matt Hardy and Zach Gowen locked it up in the center of the ring and Matt turned Zach around and gave him a shot to the back. Matt then lifted Zach up and put him in the corner and then slapped him across the face until Zach returned the favor with a slap of his own.

Mid-match notes:

Zach pulled Matt Hardy into the turnbuckle and then he signaled that he'd be going to the top rope but Matt nailed him and then gave him a body slam. Matt then headed to the top rope and came off with a moonsault but Zach Gowen rolled out of the way.

Zach gave Matt Hardy a drop kick to knock him out of the ring and then Zach used the top rope as a springboard to jump on Hardy on the outside of the ring to knock him down.

Back in the ring, Zach Gowen jumped at Matt Hardy with a cross body and a pin for a two count. Right after that, Matt planted Zach Gowen with the side effect and then he pinned him for a two count.

The finish:

Gowen hopped to the top rope and Matt gave him a clubbing blow to the back to slow him down. Matt then went for a back suplex from the top rope but Zach Gowen fought back and then he jumped on Matt Hardy with the moonsault and a pin for a three count to get the win!

Winner - Zach Gowen

Backstage:

Vince McMahon was shown in the backstage area and Linda showed up. Vince said that if it isn't his charming wife, Linda coming into his locker room to see him dressed or undressed? Linda begged Vince not to go through with this tonight. She knows he loves Stephanie. In the past, Linda turned her head but tonight, Vince is doing something that he cannot come back from. Linda then asked Vince to reconsider. Vince said that he anticipated Linda coming in here and he knows what she's all about. She's all about an advantage and a concession. Vince is going to go through this match, but he's going to give her concession. Vince can only win this match by submission but Stephanie can also win by pinfall or submission. Vince said that he needs something back. Since Stephanie insists on going through with this match, this match now is No Holds Barred. Linda got angry and left the room. Vince asked the question; 'What, was it something I said?'

Referee: Mike Sparks
The APA vs. the Basham Brothers

The music of the APA hit in the arena and they made their way out to the ring to answer the challenge made earlier tonight by the Basham Brothers in this tag team match!

The start:

Bradshaw started the match off in the ring against Doug Basham and Bradshaw went over and taunted Danny and then he locked it up with Doug. Bradshaw powered Doug into the corner and then he gave him a clubbing blow to the back and then some right hands to start it off.

Mid-match notes:

Danny Basham charged at Faarooq but Faarooq caught him in a spinebuster and then both men made the tag, bringing Bradshaw and Doug Basham into the ring.

Bradshaw got in the ring like a house of fire and he gave Doug Basham a vicious power bomb and then a pin for a two count. Danny got in the ring and gave Bradshaw a thumb to the eyes to slow him down, but that didn't last too long.

Bradshaw went for the clothesline from hell but Danny ducked it and then Bradshaw gave him the fall away slam. Doug went to the top rope but Faarooq grabbed him by the tights to stop him and then Bradshaw gave Doug the fall away slam from the second rope. Bradshaw then pinned Doug but only got a two count as Doug broke it up.

The finish:

Faarooq got in the ring and inadvertently ran into referee Mike Sparks to send him down to the mat. Doug and Danny then took control and Bradshaw laid Doug out with the clothesline from hell and then Shaniqua came out and nailed Bradshaw in the back of the head with a club and then Danny got in the ring and knocked Bradshaw down to the mat with a kick to the head and then pinned him for the three count to get the win.

Winners - the Basham Brothers

Backstage:

The Bashams were shown celebrating and Josh Matthews caught up with them and said that no one expected Shaniqua back tonight. Shaniqua said of course. It's going to take a lot more than a clothesline from hell to keep her out of action. Shaniqua pointed out what the clothesline from hell did and she pointed out her bigger breasts, calling it swelling in her chest. The Bashams asked if it's permanent and Shaniqua said that the doctor said that it could be permanent. Shaniqua told them that they did very well and deserve to be rewarded. Let's go and whip it good. The Bashams and Shaniqua then went on their way.

No Holds Barred I Quit Match
Referee: Nick Patrick
Vince McMahon vs. Stephanie McMahon

And now it's time for the first ever father vs. daughter No Holds Barred I Quit Match. As said by Vince McMahon earlier tonight, Stephanie can now win this match by pinfall or submission but Vince must force Stephanie to tap out. Again, there will be no holds barred in this match and if Stephanie loses, she'll have to step down as the General Manager of Smackdown!. If Vince McMahon loses, he's out of a job as the Chairman of the WWE. Linda McMahon accompanied Stephanie out to the ring and Linda will be in Stephanie's corner as Sable will be in Vince's corner.

The start:

Linda pleaded with Vince not to have this match but Stephanie pulled Linda back. Vince started the match off by giving Stephanie a clubbing blow to the back to knock her down.

Mid-match notes:

Stephanie jumped on Vince's back and choked away on him but Vince pulled Stephanie down to send her down to the mat.

Vince choked Stephanie over the second rope and then Sable slapped her across the face. Linda went after Sable but Vince got in between them to stop Linda from getting at Sable.

Linda slapped Vince across the face and then Stephanie gave him a low blow and a roll up for a two count.

Stephanie grabbed a lead pipe and held it up and got ready to hit Vince with it and she waited until Vince charged at her. Stephanie then nailed Vince in the gut, the back and the face with the lead pipe. Stephanie then went to the second rope and came off with a shot to the head and then she pinned Vince but Vince got his foot on the rope.

Sable got on the ring apron and the referee went towards her and yelled at her. Vince then grabbed Stephanie from behind but Stephanie shoved Vince into Sable to knock her down and then Steph gave Vince a bulldog and a pin for a two count.

Stephanie then grabbed the lead pipe again and got ready to hit Vince with it but Vince grabbed her by the throat and shoved her into the mat. Vince then nailed Stephanie in the mid section with the pipe and then he choked Stephanie with the pipe.

The finish:

As Vince choked Stephanie, Linda threw in the towel to end the match.

Winner - Vince McMahon

The Aftermath:

As Linda attended to Stephanie, Vince grabbed Linda by the face and then shoved her down to the mat. Vince then got out of the ring and left with Sable. EMTs and officials came out to the ring to attend to Linda and Stephanie after Vince and Sable left the ring. Nick Patrick helped Linda and Stephanie to the backstage area and Stephanie waved goodbye, for the last time.

Referee: Jim Korderas
John Cena vs. Kurt Angle

John Cena's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring and this is a one on one match with John Cena against the Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle! Before the match, Cena took the mic and cut a rap on Kurt Angle.

The start:

Angle and Cena locked it up in the center of the ring and Cena started to back Angle into the corner but Angle turned the tides on Cena to slam him into the corner. The referee called for a break and he got just that. It should be noted that at the start of the match, you could hear some fans chanting "Cena, Cena!"

Mid-match notes:

The fans honestly didn't know who to root for as they chanted "Let's go Cena, let's go Angle."

Angle whipped Cena into the corner and then Angle charged at him with a shoulder block but Cena moved out of the way to send Angle crashing into the ring post, shoulder first.

Kurt Angle started bleeding from the mouth during the match. Unsure what caused it.

John Cena went to the top rope and Kurt Angle hopped up and went for the belly to belly but Cena shoved him down. Cena then came off the top rope but Kurt Angle nailed him with a drop kick on the way down.

Kurt Angle went for a German suplex from the ring apron to the outside of the ring but Cena held onto the ropes and countered it with a DDT onto the ring apron.

John Cena called for the FU and he lifted Kurt Angle on his shoulders and planted him with the FU and then pinned him but only got a two count.

Cena went for the FU once again but Angle countered it with the Angle Slam and then a pin for a two count of his own.

John Cena grabbed his steel chain and then he wrapped it around his hand but the referee took it. Cena then wrapped the Gold Medals around his wrist and then he laid Angle out with them and then pinned him but only got a two count.

The finish:

Cena once again went for the FU but Angle countered and put Cena in the ankle lock. Cena attempted to get to the ropes but Angle put Cena in a leg lock while he held onto the ankle lock and that forced Cena to tap out.

Winner - Kurt Angle

United States Championship Match
Referee: Nick Patrick
The Big Show vs. Eddie Guerrero (c)

The Big Show's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as the challenger for the United States Championship against Eddie Guerrero. It should be noted that Eddie Guerrero's back is bandaged up after what happened this past Thursday night on Smackdown!.

The start:

Eddie Guerrero started it off with some kicks to the mid section of The Big Show. Eddie backed Big Show into the corner and gave him some right hands but The Big Show easily over powered Guerrero.

Mid-match notes:

Behind the referee's back, Eddie Guerrero nailed The Big Show in the head with a trash can lid.

The Big Show exposed the top turnbuckle and then he whipped Eddie Guerrero into it to send him down to the mat.

The Big Show perched Eddie Guerrero on the top rope and then Eddie pulled Big Show's head into the turnbuckle and then he came off the top rope with a splash to pin Big Show for a two count. As Big Show kicked out, Eddie Guerrero landed on the referee and then The Big Show went for a leg drop on Eddie but Eddie rolled out of the way and the referee got nailed.

Eddie Guerrero went into his tights and pulled out some brass knuckles and then laid The Big Show out with them. Eddie Guerrero then woke the referee up and pinned Big Show for a two count.

Eddie Guerrero grabbed the United States Title and brought it into the ring and nailed The Big Show with it and then he tossed the title out of the ring. Eddie then went to the top rope and came off with the frog splash and a pin for another two count.

Eddie charged at The Big Show and The Big Show caught him in a vicious spinebuster and then he pinned Eddie but only got a two count.

Big Show grabbed Eddie Guerrero by the throat and planted him with a choke slam and then he pinned Eddie Guerrero for a two count as Eddie put his foot on the bottom rope to save himself.

An angered Big Show pulled down the straps and went for a choke slam but Eddie gave Big Show a low blow and then he planted him with a DDT.

The finish:

The Big Show planted Eddie Guerrero with another choke slam and then he pinned him for the three count to win the United States Title!

Winner and new United States Champion, The Big Show

The Aftermath:

After The Big Show left as the new United States Champion, Chavo came out to the ring and Eddie shoved him back, disappointed in himself. Chavo tried to tell Eddie that they're still the tag team champions but Eddie still wasn't too happy with his loss to The Big Show.

Backstage:

Josh Matthews caught up with The Big Show and he congratulated him on his victory tonight. Is there anything he'd like to say? The Big Show said that he's so excited he can't even talk. Yeah, he'd like to say "I told you." He said he'd beat Eddie Guerrero and he did. Big Show gave him a beating that only a 7 foot 2, 500 pound giant could give. Eddie hit Big Show with everything he had and it still wasn't enough. Big Show is a giant and that means that nobody can take the US Title from him.

Heavyweight Championship Match
Biker Chain Match
Referee: Brian Hebner
The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar (c)

The following contest is a Biker Chain Match and the first wrestler to get the chain may use it on his opponent. It looks like the "on a pole" matches are back because the chain is suspended in the corner on a steel pole. The Undertaker's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as the challenger for the Heavyweight Title against Brock Lesnar!

The start:

The Undertaker went for a clothesline on Brock but Brock ducked it and got the Undertaker to chase after him around the ring. Brock went behind Taker and then shoved him into the corner and gave him a number of shoulder blocks and kicks in the corner.

Mid-match notes:

Taker put Brock in an arm wringer and he went to the corner for the maneuver referred to as 'old school' but Brock gave Taker some kicks and punches to stop it.

Taker gave Brock a big boot and a leg drop and then he pinned him for a two count. Taker then grabbed Brock by the arm and climbed the ropes and jumped off with a hard shot to the back of the neck of Brock Lesnar.

Taker hung Brock up on the ropes and then he set his sights on the chain. Taker climbed to the top rope and he went for the chain but the lights went out in the arena and when the lights came back on, Taker was standing in the ring. You could hear Taker say "*beep*" and that's when he started to climb back up for the chain but Brock stopped him from doing so.

The steel steps wound up in the ring and Brock gave Taker a drop toe hold into the steel steps. Brock then went to slam the Undertaker's head into the steel steps but Taker blocked it.

On the outside of the ring, the Undertaker gave Brock Lesnar a piledriver on the steel steps. Taker then climbed up to the top rope for the chain but Brock was somehow able to get up to pull the Undertaker down. Taker grabbed Brock in a triangle choke against the ropes and Brock fell to the ring apron as Taker fell into the ring.

Brock picked up the steel steps in the ring and drove them into the Undertaker's head to send him down to the mat and then Brock pinned Taker for a two count. Brock immediately pinned Taker once again but only got a two count.

Brock went to use the steel steps again but Taker kicked them into the face of Brock Lesnar to send him down to the mat.

Brock went for the chain with Taker down in the corner and Taker stood up and pulled Lesnar down in the Last Ride position but Brock got out of it. Brock and Taker then collided with a double clothesline to send each other down to the mat.

Taker went for a choke slam but Brock countered it and gave Taker a spinebuster and Brock pinned Taker but Taker got out of it with a triangle choke on Brock Lesnar. Brock eventually countered the triangle choke by powering the Undertaker up and giving him a power slam.

Brock went for a power slam but the Undertaker got out of it and put Brock in a dragon sleeper. Brock fought out of it with some shots to the head and then he lifted Taker above his head and gave him the F5. Brock then pinned the Undertaker but he only got a two count as Taker got his foot on the bottom rope.

Brock then climbed up and went after the Biker Chain and the Undertaker grabbed him by the legs but Brock kicked at Taker to fend him off. But unfortunately for Brock, that wasn't enough as the Undertaker gave Brock Lesnar a choke slam from the very top rope. The Undertaker then set his sights on the steel chain but the FBI made their way out to the ring. Taker disposed of Nunzio but Stamboli and Palumbo dominated the Undertaker. Taker was eventually able to fight them off.

Brock went for the F5 again but Taker got out of it and he gave Brock Lesnar the Last Ride. Taker then went off the ropes and launched himself on the FBI on the outside of the ring. Nunzio went to get the chain but he was unable to reach it and he started climbing the pole but the Undertaker knocked him down with a hard right hand. Taker then grabbed the steel chain and Vince McMahon came out and knocked the Undertaker off the top rope.

The finish:

Brock Lesnar grabbed the steel chain and wrapped it around his wrist and then he laid out the Undertaker with it. Brock then pinned the Undertaker for the three count to pick up the win.

Winner and still Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar

Evolution in full force
Oct. 20, 2003

Triple H knew he was going to make somebody a rich man when he placed a $100,000 bounty on the head of Goldberg. What he did not know at the time was that the prize would end up going to a member of his own team.

Evolution member Batista stunned the Wachovia Arena crowd when he returned to RAW and unleashed a brutal assault on the World Heavyweight Champion that may have lead to a serious injury to Goldberg. Jumping out of the crowd during the match between Goldberg and Shawn Michaels, Batista first attacked HBK and then turned his attention to the World Heavyweight Champion, who was already suffering ill effects from an earlier attack by Mark Henry and a physical match with Michaels. After wedging Goldbergs leg in a chair, Batista jumped off the ropes and onto the chair, crushing Goldbergs leg underneath. As Goldberg writhed in pain inside the ring, Batista joined his fellow Evolution members on the ramp and celebrated what appeared to be a major victory for Triple H.

In other RAW action, it appears as if the spat between RAW Co-General Managers Stone Cold Steve Austin and Eric Bischoff will finally come to a head at Survivor Series when an old fashioned Survivor Series Match will determine the future of RAW. Bischoff challenged Austin to form a team that will take on his team that already includes Chris Jericho and Scott Steiner. If Austin is able to form a team that defeats Bischoffs, Stone Cold will no longer have to be physically provoked before unleashing an assault on a RAW Superstar. However, if Bischoffs team is victorious, Stone Cold Steve Austin must resign his position as Co-GM. Team Bischoff got off to a solid start on RAW as Jericho and Steiner defeated Lance Storm and RVD.

Later, Booker T offered his services to Austin after defeating Randy Orton by count-out.

Speaking of Survivor Series, a bruised and battered Kane returned to the ring on RAW for the first time since his horrific limo accident at the hands of Shane McMahon. Kane accepted Shanes challenge to a match at Survivor Series, but also proclaimed that Shane has no chance to win the match as there is nothing Shane can do to stop Kane.

Survivor Series may be a month away, but it is already causing quite a buzz thanks to the events on RAW. Is Goldberg finished? Who will join Team Stone Cold for the most important match of Austins career as Co-GM? Only time will tell.

Match Results:
The Dudley Boyz defeated Rob Conway & Rene Dupree
Booker T defeated Randy Orton by count-out
Chris Jericho and Scott Steiner defeated Lance Storm and RVD
Molly Holly & Victoria defeated Trish Stratus & Lita
Ric Flair defeated Maven
Goldberg and Shawn Michaels wrestled to a no contest

Yes sadly Steph lose at No Mercy but i have a feeling she will be back soon. Know what about Raw when Christain came to Lita's ad what's going on here first Chris Jericho then Christain. All I can say is that I hope that Lita and Trish heart victoria gail kim and molly holly so bad that they won't be in the WWE for a LONG time.

Smackdown Note: The newiest GM is Paul Hemen and that's bad new to the smackdown superstars just ask Haas and Benjermena and Taker. Plus at Serivor Series it will be Undertaker vs. Vince McMahon is a Buryed ALive match.

John Cena is a blue chip prospect. He'll be turning face within the next few weeks and jump from Lesnar's SS team to Angle's to replace the "injured" Farooqu. Cena will one day be a World/WWE champ, and has a fresh and appealing gimmick.

WWE signs six competitors to developmental contracts
by Phil Speer
Nov. 21, 2003

Six competitors have been signed recently by WWE to developmental contracts, meaning that the company believes they have the potential to one day make the WWE roster.

Demond Thompson, Mark Magnus, Chris Cage and John Tank Toland will continue to train at Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), WWEs developmental territory in Louisville, Ky. Two others, Brent Albright and Bobby Lashley, have also been signed and will report to OVW after the first of the year.

Thompson is a trained wrestler although hes appeared on OVW television mostly as a valet.

Hes a great kid, OVW trainer Jim Cornette said. He went to the amateur class here, and he learned how to wrestle, and hes really good. But hes so small like 140 pounds that its not his calling.

So Thompson became Morris, a valet for Rene Dupree when the La Resistance member competed in OVW. When Bradshaw visited the territory, he thought Morris was hilarious, and he brought him up to WWE television, where he was christened Bruce the Butler. More recently, hes been appearing in vignettes alongside Ernest The Cat Miller.

Hes hilarious, Cornette said of Thompson. Actually, I think if he gets comfortable, hell end up outshining The Cat.

Mark Magnus, a native of Syracuse, N.Y., transferred two years ago to the University of Louisville from the University of Buffalo so he could attend OVW classes. Cornette describes Magnus as a natural for the business because he has the look, size and presence. Plus, Magnus has a legitimate IQ of 148.

Chris Cage and Tank Toland have wrestled together in OVW as Adrenaline. In addition to his wrestling talents, Cage is also an accomplished artist who earned a full scholarship to Youngtown State University.

He looks like a 23-year-old Bret Hart, Cornette said. His nickname is the Hitman. Honestly, with his hair, his face and his style of wrestling, he looks a lot like Bret did in his 20s.

Toland is a product of OVWs tryout camp earlier this year. A native of Atlantic City, Toland has an impressive amateur background that includes football, baseball, wrestling, power lifting and swimming. A four-year varsity baseball player in high school, Toland had the highest batting average, the most home runs and the most stolen bases on his team. So hes strong and fast, Cornette said. The reason why Im so high on him is, hes legitimately 5-7, but hes 220 pounds, and hes as wide as he is tall. This kid can go. And hes cut too.

Were really excited about him.

While those four competitors are homegrown OVW products, Albright and Lashley were discovered by WWE officials through other arenas.

Lashley is currently the No. 4 ranked amateur wrestling in his weight class and had been training for the Olympics, but has elected to pursue sports entertainment instead.

Albright, from Oklahoma, has wrestled for five years in the area and has competed recently at WWE television events.

In other contract-related news, Jim Ross, executive vice president for talent relations, told WWE.com that John Heidenreich and Matt Morgan have agreed to terms on long-term contracts
