what do you think the fate of the Dominion was after the war?

I imagine they're not all that different in the Gamma Quadrant, since the war never really spread to there. The only disadvantage they'd have would be the number of forces lost when they tried to send reinforcements to the Alpha Quadrant.
Still, they'd have plenty of shipyards and cloning facilities to replace the lost forces.
Any noticable change in the Dominion would be a result of Odo returning to the Link.

^Agreed. If Odo could change the link's view of solids, the whole direction of the Dominion would change. I bet that he did change that perception, since he did it to the female Changeling at Cardassia.

I think it was in "What You Leave Behind" that it was said that the Dominion had alot of "thinking" to do and that everyone was asked to stay clear of their borders for the time being or something...it might've been in one of the relaunch novels, I'm not sure...

Good point. I assume the "Allies" would just prevent the two forces from allying...kinda like what the Allies did to Austria and Germany after the First World War.
