U.S.S. Adventurer-XB-2010...The Great Journeys

Well, if you want some information about this...go check out the RPG in Role Playing Discussion (Just check out the info, unless you wish to join) and you will be informed about the ship and her mission. I don't like to make long introductions, so let's get started with the story...Oh, and most of the characters here may not match the RPG ones, but you should get the idea.

Prologue

Admiral James T. Kirk Jr. was sitting at his desk fiddling with a PADD when a sudden *bleep* came over his COMM system.

"Go ahead secretary," replied Admiral Kirk.

"Sir," she replied, "Captain Skenandore is here to see you now."

The Admiral replied with a "send him in" and immediately the secretary did so. As Captain Skenandore entered the room he immediately stood at attention and didn't move one muscle.

"Sir!" exclaimed Captain Skenandore, with his hand to his forehead as they did back in the military.

"At ease Captain," replied Kirk, "Do you know why I called you here today?"

Captain Skenandore rplied with a nod, "No sir."

"Captain, you remember the Adventurer-X don't you? Of course you do, well anyway, we have rebuilt a new model of her...her sister ship, the U.S.S. Adventurer-XB-2010. Captain, we want you to command her, after all, it was your idea to build the Adventurer-X to pick up where Voyager left off in the Delta Quadrant," said Kirk, "And besides that, we'll give you a new crew and new mission, what do you say Captain?"

"Sir," answered Captain Skenandore, "I gladly accept. It will be my honor to command the sister ship of the Adventurer-X."

"Good then, report there immediately and check her out, then I'll send you your new mission and crew and you can be on your way," said Kirk.

The two men then shook hands, Captain Skenandore then did his military salute again and Kirk did it back, then Captain Skenandore left the room and our story begins...

BTW: Here is a crewlist so you know who'll be in the story, for all the spots that say open though in the RPG...I am just going to make up a name until someone takes that part.

So, there you have it...the crew, now for Chapter One .

Chapter One

Captain Skenandore looked out the window of the shuttle pod and saw how beautiful the Adventurer-XB actually was and he immediately became in love. Oh, and in case you're wondering, Capain Skenandore is taking this shuttle because as Captain Archer a long time ago...Captain Skenandore dispises the Transporter. A few minutes later and the shuttle pod had docked on the U.S.S. Adventurer-XB-2010.

Meanwhile on the bridge,

All of the Engineering and Maintenance crews were finishing up the final touches on the ship, and the Bridge crew was getting adjusted to their stations. Captain Skenandore then entered the bridge from the turbolift and looked around his new Bridge.

"Captain on the bridge," said Lt. Commander John Lars, the Chief Tactical/Security officer, who was standing at attention with the rest of the Bridge, Engineering, and Maintenance crews.

"At ease everyone," replied Captain Skenandore as he sat in the Bridge chair, "How much longer until the repairs are done?"

"At least two to three more hours sir," answered Lt. Commander Beth Thomason, the ship's Chief Engineer.

"Understood," said Captain Skenandore, "I'm going into my ReadyRoom to contact Starfleet Command Headquarters and get our mission. I'll probably also take a trip down to SickBay and see how Dr. Radcliffe is coming."

"Aye sir," replied Lt. Commander Thomason. With that, Captain Skenandore then nodded to Commander Charles "Trip" Tucker the Fifth, the ship's First Officer, to let him know he was in charge of the Bridge for now, then the Captain got up and vanished into his ReadyRoom.

(Sorry this chapter was short, but I wrote it before I had to go to school...so some may be short and others long.)
