I read it 2x when I got it. It was good.

It has all of the series in it. William Shatner wrote it, one of six books. It helps to have read the ones prior to Spectre, but you don't have to, it can stand alone.

I read it. It was VERY good. The sequel, Dark Victory, wasn't as good, it seemed to just move people around. "Preserver" was good though.

I liked all the books, starting with Ashes of Eden and ending with Preserver. They were all exceptional as Star Trek books go.

I think Ashes was the only one to actually say it, but they were all co-written by Judith&Garfield Reeves-Steevens, even though most just say "William Shatner".
