I do believe Commander Chakotay is correct. The Doctor said.
Please Doctor, do tell. My aunt replied.
I have sufficient reason to believe that this procedure brings her back by using the electric impulses her cerebrum emits to trigger neural activity. But the genetic manipulations are made possible, is another theory that would take another me to fully understand. The Doctor explained.
Alright, Doctor have Cassandra ready for the procedure within the hour. Lt. Torres I want you to go to every ex-maquis and get their thoughts on this Terrianna, Ensign Kim go to Starfleet officers and collect their knowledge on Terrianna, Mr. Paris you can get back to your post, as can you Tuvok, and Commander Chakotay go find that box that you were talking about. As for me, Im going to be in my ready room to seek advice from previous situations like this and how other Starfleet commanding officers handled themselves. My aunt said, taking total control over this situation, and a small smile formed on my lips.
Thank-you so much Captain, Chakotay said, a rasp in his voice that said to me he was near tears, I can only begin to tell you how much Im grateful for your choice to go through with this, I am forever in your debt.
Dismissed.

Chakotay entered Cassandras quarters, me close behind, and went straight for the pillows.
Please be here. He muttered, but the pillows were normal.
Where did you put it? He asked himself, and sat on my couch.
The closet Chakotay, go for the closet! I yelled.
Perhaps she got rid of it...
The freakin closet Chakotay! Think closet!
Perhaps...its in the... He trailed off.
CLOSET!!! I screamed at the top of my lungs.
Perhaps the closet... He muttered, and opened the closet door.
Inside my closet was a mess, and I knew the box was stuffed in the back.
Jesus Cass, you sure are messy. He said, and began shifting though my stuff. He moved clothing, underthings, shoes, and holographic equipment.
Holo-matrix-portable-projectile-generator-holo-compater-thingamijig, wow, why does she need all this crap?
Because it takes me above and beyond the holodecks. I whispered, and Chakotay smiled because hed found what he was looking for, and ever so slowly the first tear slid down his cheek. Followed by a few sniffles, and a few more tears, until he was crying all out.
My heart went out to him, unfortunately my lips and embrace couldnt.
Why did I lose you, Terra? Were we too young? Did our forbidden love upset some divine being? Am I going to hold you, only to lose you once more? He asked the air around him, and his heart within.
Chakotay what we had was better than those divine beings, and all the angels in Heaven above, what we had was...flawless. I said to him, momentarily forgetting that fact that I was dead.
Janeway to Chakotay.
Yes Captain? He replied, wiping his tears away.
Did you find it?
Yes maam, Ill deliver it to sickbay right away.
Good, Ill meet you there, Janeway out.
Adda-boy Chakotay, bring me back, let me live. I said, and followed Chakotay out as he headed for Sickbay.

Janeway exited her Ready room, and went to the turbolift, Cassandras childhood on her mind.
You really werent fair to her Kathryn, She thought, you judged her on her mothers past instead of her future. Then she gave you what you asked for; an out of control Phoebe, but you put her in a uniform, and now shes a Commander, on Voyager, and madly in love with Chakotay.
If only Id been easier on her, Janeway whispered, perhaps she wouldve never turned into this Terrianna.
Your such a fool Kathryn, thinking Cassandra was just a problem, never opening your heart to her when she needed it most, Janeway thought to herself, as she exited the lift and headed for Sickbay.
I wonder if all Captains talk to themselves, Janeway said aloud as she entered Sickbay.
BElanna looked up to see the Captain enter Sickbay, followed closely by Cassandra. They joined the few that were off-duty; Tom, Harry, BElanna, and Chakotay.
Okay then, whos up for bringing Cassandra back from the dead? Tom said, a futile attempt at humor.
I do believe this procedure should be most educational. The Doctor said approaching the surgical bay, where my body was lying.
Great. Lets get on with it. Kathryn said to her fellow officers.
Captain, if...if...something should go wrong and this fails..., Chakotay tried to explain, I just want...you...to...to know how....grateful I am that you at least took a chance. This just means...so much to me.
I know Chakotay, youve been there for me whenever I needed you, doing this isnt a choice but an obligation to my first officer.
BELANNA! I screamed, as my toes began to vanish.
Oh no... BElanna replied.
Jesus Christ BElanna tell them to start the procedure NOW!! I yelled.
Cassandra... My aunt muttered.
You heard her? BElanna asked.
Yes, and I think I can almost see her too.
Same here Captain. Tom said.
Okay then, what am I seeing Lieutenant? Janeway asked.
I..I...I think shes crossing. We better get this procedure underway.
Okay than Doctor, what needs to be done?
Well, Mr. Paris, erect a forcefield around the surgical bay, next fill the bay with pure oxygen only, then I need to give her a shot. The Doctor explained.
Okay...proceed. Janeway ordered.
The Doctor opened the box Chakotay had found, and pulled out an easy ten-inch needle.
Please Doctor, tell me where you put that, Chakotay asked.
Through the heart Commander. Thought I hope it will be successful, Ive not done this nor have I even fathomed this. The Doctor explained.
Fair enough, get on with it then, Janeway said, a note of desperation in her voice.
The Doctor watched as Paris set up the forcefield and oxygenized the surgical bay. The Doctor stepped through the forcefield and towrads my dead body.
No pressure here people, just lost my arms and legs, theyve crossed,

The Doctor entered the surgical bay, and took a deep holographic breath.
"Well then, here goes nothing," he muttered.
He gave the needle a little tap and some liquid oozed out, then, ever so carefully and gently, inserted the needle.
For a few moments nothing happened. Then my body began to change, first my skin darkened, ridges became noticable, then I was who I once was.

Later!!

"Her neuro-electro impulses in her brain should basically kick-start her respratory, cardiac, digestive, nervous, and every other key system," The Doctor explained, closely watching the moniter.
"My God," Janeway whispered, "This is like...nothing I've ever been through."

gtg later

"Watch as the neurons on her cellular level recharge her key systems. This procedure is highly disputable, imagine the paper I could write on this..." The Doctor said aloud, monitering the console.
"B'Elanna, do you still see her?" Chakotay asked.
"No, she's vanished."

"Vanished in a good way?" Kathryn asked, pacing.
B'Elanna shook her head, "I don't know."
"Her heart is beginning to beat, and higher brain functions are fully functional." Doc informed them, "all other key systems are well on their way to operating at normal."
"Is she alive?" Chakotay asked, gazing at Terrianna.
"I believe I just said that."

Slowly my eyes were functional, and I saw only darkness. Then my left eyes was forced open, and a light shone directly into it.
"She's back," somebody exclaimed, "and going to make a full recovery."
"Chakotay...." I whispered.
"I'm here," I thought I heard him say, and I tried futilly to open my eyes, and after many attempts succeeded.
They were all there, looking down at me, Chakotay at my right, the Captain at my left.
"I feel like I was hit by a rabid targ." I said, voice barely above a whisper.
Chakotay smiled, the Captain sighed.
But they both looked like they were hiding something.
"The Doctor says you're going to be fine." Janeway said, shooting a nervous glance at Chakotay.
"What is it?"
Chakotay took a deep breath, "When you were Cassandra you're genetic codes for Terrianna were stored in the vial."
"Tell me something I don't know."
"Okay, you see you're...."

Be back later.

"I'm what? Dying, again?" I joked, but they looked very serious.
'When your vital organs are compressed into few cells they are very simple, so any simple cell would be taken for an organ," Chakotay continued.
"Yeah, I think I know this."
"Let him finish," Janeway said, looking somber.
"Organ cells in this state grow rapidly when put into the dead Cassandra's form, like aging months in minutes. So that creats a problem in your er......condition."
I looked at them, they looked at me, "O-kay then, what is my condition?"
Chakotay's lips sagged in sadness, "Do I have to spell it out to you? You're pregnant Terra, and there's a good chance we're going to lose the baby."
A baby? Me? Imkpossible. Unthinkable. Undeniable.
"My god..." I trailed off.
"Everybody out, let's give them some time." Janeway said, and everybody slowly walked out.
"The baby...it's yours, right?" I asked Chakotay, and he sat on the small bed next to me.
"Most likely. But it's mine from before the Delta Quadrant, when we were first together."
"Will I lose the baby?"
Chakotay nodded, "The fetus has been in the vial for over three years, and is now in a state of hyper-growth. You should be eight months along,
your body is going to try to make up for those eight months in a matter of
a week. We don't know what kind of affects this is going to have on the baby."

Write more soon.

"No," I cried.
I looked up at Chakotay. He was in naked despair, eyes glassy tears.
"You really want the baby, huh?" I asked.
He nodded, "Of course I do. All my life I've wanted a family, and now I have one on the way."
Chakotay wanted a family, but I was not the one to give it to him. What kind of wife could I be? I mean, yes, I loved him, but every marriage of mine ended in failure, all three of them.
"Us? A family? Are you sure?"
A tense silence ensued, both of us reveling in the akwardness. I did not want to talk, and I did not want him to say a word.
"I thought that was what you wanted." He replied.
"I did, I do. But, I'm no wife. The only reason I ever married was for information. And...and...I failed at those marriages."
Chakotay replied, choosing his words carefully, "I never proposed. I merely said we have a family now, in one way, or another."
"You're absolutly right, no pressure."
"Would you think about it? Possibly?"
I looked down, "There's not much thought to give. I'm not even sure I want to go through with this pregnancy."
"WHAT?!" Chakotay said, forefully.
"I'm not sure if I'm ready to be a mother."
He stood up, stepped back, "Do I have a say? The baby is half me."

More to come.

"Yes, so have your say."
Chakotay paced, and kneeled by my bedside, "Give birth to the baby, give the baby to me. You don't have to be a mother, but -dammit- let me be a father. Terra, my dear Terra, this isn't the woman I fell in love with. The woman I fell in love with wanted more than anything to be mother, to love and nurture another life. Remember when we made love? The afterward? We spoke of one day raising a family after the rebellion was won, a girl and a boy, my Terra spoke of peace and humilty, this new Terra talks about ending an innocent life.Where is the Terrianna I fell deeply, madly, and purely in love with?"
I felt tears sting my eyes, and I choked then back, "She died when she watched her friends and family die, watched them bleed to death. The old Terra was approached by a Cardassian, he knew her real identity, and by some grace of god sent her back to Starfleet. I saw the rebellion end, Chakotay, and I saw our hopes and dreams die in the arms of death and mass murder."
"It must have been awful," he whispered, "but why let that tradgedy affect the life we could have on Voyager? Together, untill we die in each other's arms? I hope I die before you so that I may never live a second without you near me."
Those dark ebony eyes met mine, looking into my balckened soul, sending a ray of pure white hope to my heart. Could I do this? Could I be a mother, and a loving wife?

I want you, Reader to decide, you decide what should happen to Terra. I look forward to reading your responses.

ok, here's what I'd like to have happened, but probably can't now! hehe. I would have liked it if she was to have the baby, but then die for it, like in birth, and ask Janeway to be the Godmother, or something along those lines, so that Janeway and Chakotay are closely linked through the baby. That way the two of them could.....

"Okay Chakotay, let's have the baby." I smiled as I saw tears of joy slide down his cheeks.
He picked up my hand and kissed the tips of my fingers, "Thank-you so much Terra. We have many arrangements to take care of though. Like quarters, we have to live togther, and god father, who could that be? And and....and....."
I laughed, "And you need to calm down. We will live together, naturally, as for a god father? I was thinking the Captain."
Chakotay smiled, "I was too."
Sickbay doors hissed open, and in came B'Elanna, Janeway, and Harry.
"Hello Launs, Captain, Harry."
Janeway looked at B'Elanna, "Launs?"
B'Elanna smirked, "Terra always called me that. I guess it really is you. Part of me had been hoping that this was all one big lie."
"B'Elanna, it is me. And I can bot even begin to tell you how sorry I am for what happened. What pains me most is knowing that I betrayed you, Launs, when you put your trust in me."
"Every night in the Maquis I went to bed with your words of advice in my ears, words I remember to this day, and i can't help but wonder if you really meant what you said."

More later.
