But why do you think she was the best doctor? Why was she your favorite?

I think its very hard to pick who is my fave Charatcer but I really admire how dedicated she is, and she is very smart.

I agree she is the best Doctor Starfleet has ever known.

Beverly is a caring, determined, skilled, and selfless doctor, mother, and friend to the Enterprise crew and civilians. It is these qualitites that i admire in her most. Course she has a habit of obsessing over her work, working her self to death, and showing her temper when extremely agitated, but those qualitites just make her more human.

^ Well said ::applauds::. I love just the way she is so nice to everyone, and (from what's I've seen) hardly ever snaps. That can backfire, though. Did anyone think at times she was a little...flirty (for want of a better word). She had Odan (which was niiice) and John Doe (I've not seen that ep, damn the GB), and Rasmussen. I must say I did find her rather amusing when she was feeling 'flirty', but if she was just aiming it in the captain's diriection................

Beverly was an amazing character and was a great female role model.she was graceful, caring and managed to be a single mother while being a on call all the time doctor. She was a great friend to Deanna and was a friend to everyone, she managed to stick up for herself and sticked to her principles.Gates McFadden is such an amazing actress and very devoted to her children an dshe is looking absouloutly fantastic and really pulls the character of beverly off with no faults.

I like Beverly. Shes pretty awsome. I've realosed that she always has to be right.Either that or she is always right. That really bugs me But shes not in allot of episodes so it doesn't bug me that much.lol

08.01.2003
Birthdays: August

08.07.03 Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)
08.14.03 Brannon Braga (Executive producer and co-creator, Enterprise)
08.19.03 Jonathan Frakes (William Riker, Star Trek: The Next Generation)
08.19.03 Diana Muldaur (Katherine Pulaski, Star Trek: The Next Generation)
08.19.03 Gene Roddenberry [1921-1991] (Star Trek creator)
08.24.03 Jennifer Lien (Kes, Star Trek: Voyager)
08.28.03 Gates McFadden (Beverly Crusher, Star Trek: The Next Generation)

Happy Birthday to everyone!

I was reading this, and Gate's McFadden's birthday is the day before mine!!!!!! (If it *is* her real birthday, since I think she's had problems with that one before) So she's a Virgo, and Beverly is...um...from memory the beginning of October, she's a Libra (the most likeable sign). But you didn't need to know that.

Oh, and for you British trekkers that watch Eastenders, Gates has the same birthday as Dennis Rickman....scary....

(I'm sorry, OT I know, but I'm just kinda hyper....)
