I installed a PHP "accelerator/optimizer" today. What this does is cache compiled php scripts. The result is less cpu usage (less compiling of scripts) and faster execution times (php script compiling step does not occur). Site performance under high load will be much improved with this addition.

Although you cannot see the script execution times as I can, some page times dropped from 0.30 secs to about 0.25 secs.

This addition should not affect you much. I just wanted to give notice of the change so that if you experience any weird problems, then you could report it.
