Yippie! We hear toward the end of "The Xindi" that they don't even traverse the space riddled with anomolies, or at least, the impression is there.
Exciting!

just watched , it had a pretty run of the mill storyline with the cargo and stuff being stolen although things sure got more interesting with the discovery of the sphere one of many I hear in the expanse and what could the purpose of them be??? this is going to be an additional puzzle in the already progressing xindi story arc this season, pretty good ep this week and finally the edger archer had begun to show through its good that the expanse itself came into play I'd like to see more of the strange effects that is has on people and ships
7/10

If its anything remotely related to the Dyson's sphere, then I know where this is going.
Dyson's Sphere = protection from Xindi Superweapon.

I don't think its in anyway related to the dysons spere, although I never completely understood the dysons shere, I thought that was something you lived in, those pirates just used it for storage and T'pol said her scans showed the thing was half busted anyway, so I don't think it has any real meaning anyway, just another extra to the story. As for the show I though it was okay, I don't like how it made archer out to be the bad guy, the way he stuffed that guy into the airlock and threatened to kill him to me that wasn't very starfleet captan like.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the theory behind the Dyson's sphere was a self contained solar system encased in a duranium+ alloy hull, for full utilization of solar radiation and such.
But it only works when the star is cooperating.

It is hard to say where this story arch is headed. It does not seem like it is about to finish up anytime soon, and it might be a theme for the entire season. /shrug
I thought the military-esque fight scenes were cool. Did you notice the young woman corporal? I think they made sure she got some direct camera time and lines. She might be there to do what Seven did for Voyager -- resurrect, and spice up the show.
Archer got this Xindi database. Let us see what he does with it.

I liked the fact that Archer threw that guy in the airlock otherwise the show was pointless.

I enjoyed, again, the overlapping Xindi theme to the show. The interesting sphere, which when I first saw it I said "That is a Dyson's sphere" as well, was very good. I think it will hold many of the secerets of the Xindi in the end. As for the fight scenes, the space battles were pretty nice and I like the commando additions, it gives the ENT more of a bite.
Archer was solid in this ep, he must begin to act like Captain Sisko did during the Dominion War if he is to succeed in his mission.
The thing with Trip becoming dissalussoned, saying that this is a one way mission, is also interesting. I want to see how that angle gets played with not only Trip but other characters as the season moves on.
Good episode. Next week looks bad though.

This was an excellent episode. The plot was of great relevance to the Xindi arc, the music was dead on, the acting was superb as well as the FX...need I say more?
