Spike Tv, The First Network for Men, is a remade station from TNN. What do you all think about this? i think its just a way to bring there ratings up. They have a few good shows that i watch on it: Star Trek The Next Generation, WWE Raw, WWE Heat and all. post what you think about TNN changing to Spike TV

But I"ll have to agree that it is just a way to boost ratings...it was a mostly men audience anyways wasn't it?

The "Spike TV" ad that appears every few seconds at the lower right of the screen is VERY annoying and distracting.

ESPN, NESN, Playboy..... stations geared toward men. "First network for men" my ass.
I think it's kind of degrading to men. Saying that violence and sex is all that you understand. I know several men who watch the "womens" channels, LMN, etc..., because they can think, and actually enjoy doing so. And by no means am I saying that women are smarter or better, I'm saying that society is saying that men can only handle action, etc...

So, again, "finally a station for men", c'mon, give yourselves some credit here.

She does have a point. Men have just as many stations as women,if not more. And when sports are on,forget it, men (mainly) are glued to the TV.

ESPN is my "men's network"

... but I know at least one girl that considers it her "women's network." She knows more about sports than me, and that is RARE.

The name change dosn't really bother me, I really only watch St, and Real TV on that station, and sometimes James Bond Movies. Shawn Connery's the best Bond!!!

Ok let me break it down, Stan Lee bought the Station and "TNN" was most of the time affiliated with "hillbillies" and he wanted to get away from that.
