Sun Sep 14, 2003 8:15 pm Enterprise will last 7 seasons |
|
Most of the other star trek ended at every 7 season.
*I put my bets on it lasting 5 more seasons*
Any of you think it will last this long?

It would be really interesting to see what happens to the show and characters after 5 more seasons Just think, I would/will be 20 years old then, watching the finale of enterprise...

I think Enterprise is a very poor show, i was dissapointed with the first 2 seasons, i have yet to see the 3rd, so ill still give it a chance, but if series 3 is no good then, ill give up and say enterprise is doomed.

I think enterprise is good. I do not see how it is bad relative to the other series. I have even gotten used to the intro, which is inferior to the previous series. However, if I were to rank the star trek series, Enterprise would not be at the bottom.

I like Enterprise(putting aside the extremely not cool intro) I hope it lasts for at least 7 seasons and maybe even more.

Enterprise will probably last as long as UPN lasts, or until UPN stumbles upon an unexpected hit show.
Don't count on UPN lasting another 5 years, though. From what I've heard, its struggling.

Almost anything. The first episode of Jake 2.0 was pretty good.
Missed the second, I'll have to catch the rerun. It'll probably be cancelled anyway.

I watched the first ten minutes of Jake 2.0 after Enterprise. It reminds me of Dark Angel, except that J2.0 is comedic, and goofy. The principle idea of a person being infected with nano technology, which enhances his physical capabilities and allows him to mentally tap into computer systems and manipulate them, is absurd at best. If Dark Angel only lasted two seasons, then I cannot expect Jake 2.0 to last more than one.

Well, of course its an old (and highly unlikely) premise. But its still fairly entertaining, surprisingly.

The old intro wasn't that bad.
However, now they've sped it up so it doesn't match the visuals, and given it a decidedly "pop" feel.
Not sure I like it anymore.

I can tolerate the Enterprise intro now, but I still prefer an instrumental intro.

They haven't speeded it up, it only sounds like that because of the guitar in the background. I thought the old one was great, not like the other themes but still great.

As if the show wasn't bad enough to start with, they have to take the theme and re-do it. What a horrible idea....What were they thinking when they changed it?
"Let's take the theme and make it equal to what the story lines and character development are...CRAP! That way everyone will know to turn it off before they start watching."
Enterprise is just another crap ST show in the downward spiral that has become Trek. (Yes I have to admit, more often than not, Voyager sucked too. But Voyager had its few shining moments...DS9 was great but heavily mirrored B5 [maybe that's why I liked it...B5 rocked] and the last really good show was TNG [though I do remember the first season or two ;)].
