Hey, guys. I'm new here. I don't know if this is in the right place. I have a story for you guys to read. It's far away from finished, but let me know what you think. BTW, my name is suipposed to be sevenofninefan1. Enjoy.
My Star-Trek Voyager Story:
Seven Days, Nine Nights
Characters:
Seven Of Nine
Capt. Katherine Janeway
BLenna Torres
Neelix
The Doctor
Jyotek
Neelix
Tom Paris
I (Authors name anonymous)
Prologue:
Three billion light years away from home, our crew is having the time of their lives as they are celebrating their victory over the Kardacian. An uphill battle as Kardacian claimed they were provoked, which was really spilled milk or was it spoiled milk as Captain Janeway put it.
The mess hall, Voyagers cafeteria was very jovial. Everyone was there from Captain Katherine Janeway and commanding officer, Chakotay to Neelix and his strange, yet, amicable crowd. Oh, and I shall not forget Blenna Torres of Klignon roots and her husband Harry Kim; The proud parents of - well BLenna and Tom dont know yet, and neither will we. Everyone from Janeway on down has joined in the festivities except one.
Chapter One: The Celebration
Voyager had fought strenuously against the seething Kardacian - an intense battle of words and weapons. Firing upon each other ships, the Kardacian decided to back down; for now.
All of the crew, had a very special surprise for Captain Janeway, but first they begged her to give a speech.
Come on, Janeway replied. You cant be serious.
Sure we are,Chakotay replied. If it wasnt for you, we wouldnt be where we are now.
All right, all right, Janeway sighed. The crew listened as the captain obliged.
So many years, yet so few chances . . . Ive been with you guys for almost twenty years now and as a captain, I have come to the realization that it take more than a rank, or even more so, the obvious tasks of running a ship to be able to be given the title of Captain.
I knew from the start that this was going to be a huge responsibility on my shoulders; a responsibility to the crew, and to Voyager herself, but Ive never neglected nor will I ever neglect the responsibility to myself.
Commander Chakotay, she continued, you say that you wouldnt be here nor would you have made it this far without me. The truth is, Id have never made it this far without you guys. This may come to you as a shock, but I consider myself a follower instead of a leader. I mean, whos to say that I wasnt leading in the first place.
All Im trying to say is . . . thank you, she concluded, for helping me become the person you see today. I appreciate every ounce of effort youve put forth these last twenty years . . . Janeway said tearing up, but I think its time . . .
Excuse me, Captain, Chakotay said, tell me tell US youre not considering . . .
What? Oh, my, you guys think Im leaving! she laughed.
Youre not? Harry Kim asked.
No, she replied. I was hoping to get my gift from you guys - your attention anyway.
Oh well, then, Chakotay said relieved, but he was interrupted by an unfamiliar voice which had come through Janeways pin. Captain, we meet again, it said sadistically. All crew members headed to there stations as Captain Janeway commands this person to be shown on screen; however, all the crew sees is a silhouette
Who are you and what do you want? she asked.
Ah, Captain Katherine Janeway, is that you? the voice mocked.
What the hell do you want? she asked.
Cant a person come visit their friends once in a while? The intruder eyes Katherines right hand. A parting gift? it snickered.
No! she stammered. Look, I dont know who you are, but I demand you get out of here now!
Okay, okay, fine, it replied, but you havent seen the last of us! The screen goes back to its spacial self.
Who was that and what does this person want?Jyotek asked.
More importantly, Janeway inquired, who are they? She thought for a moment. They proceeded to walk back to the mess hall. No, couldnt be, she said.
Who? What? Chakotay asked.
Nevermind, Janeway said. Hey, thanks for the gift.
You like it? Chakotay asked.
Yeah, she replied. Wait a minute, theres something else isnt there?
Why, he joked. Whatever do you mean?
Oh, come on, Janeway scowled jokingly. A ring . . . pop?! Ooh!
Gotcha! he laughed so did the entire crew! Delicious, isnt it?
Yes, Katherine replied, and my favorite flavor, too.
Now, theres was more food wise, I mean. Along the candy there was an assortment of refreshments from BLennas Klignonic cookies to Neelixs creep-show cuisine - thats what he calls it to The Doctors apple; somebody doesnt want a check up, I presume!
Among all the sour-kraut, there were some sweethearts like: BLennas brownies none for Harry, they were excellent to me; they cant touch her cookies though; a fellow Kardacians cake (some were friends) to bubbling beverages like sparkling water; champagne and 7up I wonder where that came from?
We ate and ate, till we could not eat anymore; however, as I mingled, I kept noticing someone appearing and disappearing out of the corner of my eye, but as always I decided to pay it no attention. Apparently, one of the crew members sensed my being distracted.
Hey, I, Tom asked, are you all right?
Yeah, I said, Just thinking.
About what? Tom asked. I quickly decided to change the subject. Blenna.
My wife? Tom asked.
Whoa, now Jeff Gordon, I said. Its not like that. I was just wondering how come you havent named the baby yet?
Oh, dont tell me, Tom said disgusted. You have a list of names, too?
Well, just one that sticks out, I said. You might like it.
Shoot, Tom said.
It is a girl, right? I asked.
Yes, he replied.
Are you sure? I joked. Because you never know!
Tom was about to throw me across the table. I was just kidding! Damn, get a hold of yourself! It was BLennas cookies, wasnt it?
Tom! BLenna yelled. Harry released his grip.
Okay, okay, I said, back to question at hand or my thought exactly. Since its a girl, how about, Helena? Think about it.
Harry, he thought, BLenna . . . Helena! He looked at me, and I wasnt sure what to think. Harry . . . BLenna . . . HELENA! Thats it! The babys name. Oh, youre a genius! Thank you! Thank you!
Oh, for the love of God, I said, youre welcome! Now get off me!
Yes, Tom, BLenna interceded, please do.
He did and I ridiculously found myself gasping abnormally for air. Yet, through all this, I kept wondering who did I keep making eye contact with? I had a feeling who it was. Nevertheless, the party continued without any further interruptions.
Chapter Two: Excluded
Here we find several crew, particularly, Captain Janeway and Chakotay walking down the ships corridor, chit-chatting as usual.
Great speech, Chakotay complimented.
Really? Janeway asked.
I mean. wow, he elaborated, and you didnt read anything. Hey, you know . . .
Okay, what do you want? she interrupted. Nothing. Hey, have you seen Seven?
No, he said. I havent seen her all day. Something wrong?
No, Janeway replied. I just thought that she would be here. I mean, who would want to celebrate a birthday without his or her best friend?
You know, Chakotay said, maybe she feels sick or something. Besides, she needs her rest anyway. Youve been hounding with assignments lately. She is human, you know.
Yeah, youre right, Janeway said. I forgot.
Well, this is my stop, Chakotay said arriving at his quaters. Are we still on for dinner? he asked.
Absolutely, she said smiling.
As I said, I'm not finied yet.

Good start, but perhaps slightly out of character. But since it's A/U, that's acceptable.
Please continue,

What do you mean?
"I" is like "Q"
Besides, I'm in the story; I don't want to reveal my name.

Good, don't do that.

With slightly out of character I mean that B'Elanna wouldn't normally bake cookies, and Harry wouldn't throw people.
A/U means that it is an Alternate Universe. It is clearly not the normal Voyager since Kim is married to B'Elanna. And in an alternate universe, anything can happen.

Not well. I know what I want to do, but I'm not sure where to put it and how to spread the story. Especially with a certain character.
Some ideas.
Again, "my nodes are malfunctioning"
"It's called stress dear!"

Try to make different scenarios up in your head, then choose the best one to put on paper.
