I've got a full-time job for August. Actually, I'm at work now. I am a temporary legal secretary for an immigration lawyer while my mom (the real secretary) is on vacation.
Not bad for a first job, in my opinion.

I have no job, but I will once school starts.

At the beggining of the summer, I thought to myself I'm going to be gone
at least 2 weeks this summer, so who would want to hire me when I'd be
leaving for school in the fall. So I didn't try to find a job, but once I'm settled
in college life, I'll be looking for an on campus job.

I work at the observatory giving tours on the 'scopes and sometimes constellation tours (But not much on the constellations, 'cause I usually need a map to figure it out) It's pretty fun. Only once a week, but that works for me.

That does sound like a fun job.
You get to educate the general public about space, in a way.

I would kill for B`Ellana`s job Sounds like a dream one....

I work for an electrical wholesalers company....ie we sell cables, sockets, light fittings, stuff like that.I do the paperwork on a pc accounting system, the banking, mail, errands, some pick up and delivery of stock, general clerk work, and sales,if so needed,so its a bit of everything, really.Ive been doing this kind of job, with the same pay since end of 1999.

Its ok,though at times frustrating, because its not what one would term a "dream job".But with 41 % unemployment over here, one cannot be choosy.Anyway, they have this free bar after hours, wich i like And i have to run up and down some stairs all day, good exersize....(my "office" is on a mezzanine level)

^ Councelor job.
I was recomended too be a Councelor principal at the old school. She said I was not smart enough too be a Lawyer and a Councellor would be a good choice. And I agree with her.
But I am still gonna try hard and be a Lawyer no matter what.
A cop would be my back-up choice followed by a Councelor.

Tell me about it. When I was 14 I had a hell of a time trying to get the people to pay there was this one person who kept ripping me on the bill. He said I kept stealing the store ads that come in the wednesday editions of the newspaper. I would tell him that I didn't and he would than say if I complained he wouldn't pay me and report me to my boss for harassment. I swear paper carriers never get proper respect than let's talk about how sick you can get during the winter. There was this one time that I was rushing because it was a major storm that night well the next day I got sicker than a dog and I called them to let them know to get a sub. They said they couldn't get one so I had to go out again that was the worst day I remember not only was I sick but I got drenched and got even more sicker ended up missing a week of school.

Things started to get nasty last week when he sent his daughter to follow me and my friend around so i told my mum and she went round to the shop and had a word with him *well a few nasty words* and he started lying bout me and my friend and i just lost it and told him to stick his lottery ticket booths sumwhere unpleasent and i quit at the end of the week when i got a job

I have a really good paper shop, coz they give you free sweets if the weathers bad, and from mon. to sat. its 21. Really good pay. Thats why I went back for the summer after I moved, despite the 1-2 miles to get there.
