Think massive destruction along the world. Say, (NOTE: DO NOT FLAME ME FOR THE NEXT FEW SENTENCES, FOR THEY ARE AN EXAMPLE) if a terrorist were to get a starship, aim the weapons at the capitol, and boom. Instant anarchy.
We would have to become better than ourselves. Not be greedy, not be evil, things like that.
