^It could very well end up being the badlands since the 300 years between Voyager and Enterprise is a rather long period of time. The Expanse could somehow "morph" into the badlands but somehow I kind of doubt that.

Well, you never know, someone alien race could test a weapon or two in there, cause massive disruption, and *boom*

No. It does not make sence. It took enterprise 7 months I think it was to get from sol, to the expanse. The bandlands is next to ds9, near Bajor. Enterprise has not been anywhere near there. The expanse must be within 100LY from earth. Yet, it is 2000LY wide. Surely you would think that this would have been noticed in any other trek series.
Bajor, Cardassia, Sona, The Bandlands is only 24th century explored territory. And, it's much, much further than 100LY away! (apparently at least 1000LY away from sol) The bandlands is also in the opposite direction of what enterprise has currently explored.
If the expanse turns out to be the bandlands, I will scream. This would be the biggest inconsistency of enterprise yet.

Agreed. Making it was bad enough, but if they do something to screw up the show any more, I'll pay them a visit *loads shotgun*

7 months at warp 5? That's more than 100 light years in that much time. I'd beg to say its related to the Sona' incident.

well I think since we have seen some of the major species (Borg, Klingon, Romulan) I think we should add some more like the Cardasian, Bajoran and whaever other kinds there are in that area

12 / 7 = .58
warp 5 = TOS 125xc, TNG 214xc
125 - 58% = 72.5LY
214 - 58% = 124.12LY
NX-01 will have either traveled ~72LY or ~124LY for it's 7 month journey.
