PostSun Jun 22, 2003 3:02 pm    Jurassic Park 4

In 1993 Universal Studios made history with the release of the major HIT Jurassic Park. The sory where cloned dinosaurs escape their confinements in a theme park called Jurassic Park, and cause Havoc on the Human Visitors/Workers.

In 1997 Universal Studios took the Jurassic Park Legacy one step further with The Lost World: Jurassic Park. This movie was a perfect sequal to the first movie bringing the dinosaurs all the way to the mainland, and into the public eye, it was a great movie and still is.

In 2001 Universal Studios broke from the Honored Jurassic park Tradition and introduced Jurassic Park III. The third movie was basicly a High Budget B-Movie, it is a fun movie to watch, but lacks something that the others had.

But soon the tradition will return...

Jurrasic Park 1 was the best! Jurrasic park 2 was ok... Jurrasic Park 3 well it lacked the essence, the idea was used too much, ok there were 'some' good moments like the terradactles (sp) but it wasnt a very good film. and Jurrasic park 4 wont be atall goodunless it turned out to be some sort of prequel.

i liked lost world because of the velociraptors, i liked that part where those guys got attacked walking through the tall grass, pretty cool. more people died in that movie than the other two combined.

^ I LOVE the raptors.

I thought both the original and The Lost World were great, but number three sucked IMO. I don't remember much of it, probably because I was so horrified that they actually created that less-than-mediocre piece of junk that I tried to destroy all memory I had of it. (I'm sorry if that offends anyone who enjoyed the movie, I was just EXTREMELY disappointed when I saw it). I hope if they come out with a fourth, it's more on scale with numbers one and two.

The first one was the best. The second one, I wish I could have back the time I spent watching it. Third, I can hardly remember... so it can't be that great.

I hope they actually show a properly working park or something like that this time where visitors visit it, not just raptors and t rexs chasing and eating humans running for their lives. We have already seen that.

I would not go see it haha

besides, if that were to happen, the dino's would need to learn to swim through hundreds of kilometers of ocean!

The first one I remember jumped the crap out of me the first time I saw it, so I'll vote that one.

I like the part on the first one when they're sitting in the cars and you just hear thumps and the glass of water is shaking, and the goat's leg smacks into the window

The first was the best as it is wih most things IMO. The initial idea was good but I think they've milked it a little too much now. I'll probably still go and see it though

Also, if you get chance, read Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park and The Lost World. They're VERY different from the films and in my opinion, much better than the films. Theres alot of weird scientific talk about DNA and cloning and stuff which I didn't understand but once you get past that they are really good books. Some parts of the books are not in the films and parts of the films are not in the books. Some parts from the Jurassic Park book are in The Lost World film and some parts from the Lost World are in Jurassic Park. It's almost as though the producers picked through the books choosing which ideas they liked and then adapting them for the big screen.

I liked them all and although some are better than the others I'm still sufficiently satisfied to watch the newest one

I hope the 4th is better than the first because the lost world, well, i kind of get bored in that one a lot, and i've seen jurassic park III a load of times and i almost memorized everything that happens so i hope it's at least as good as the first
