if you have seen Nemesis then i think its obvious that if another movie does come out B4 will take the place of Data because they had that memory transfer thing from Data to B4

no..... B4 couldnt proccess the information...... he was just a prototype.... but as i said in the "Nemesis" topic...... they might take the information out of the B4 and put it into another Andriod of the same make as Data, and introduce him to some of the things that Data used to do or know therefore making him more like Data but they could never get another exact Data because the 1 with the information would have a different attitude, possibly aggressive because he feels he was only built to replace another, not grow to become an individual like Data did.....

true but at the end of movie B4 started singing that song that Data did and thats what makes me think that B4 will become the next "Data"

^ ahh yes, b4 did have a memorry transfer, however his memory engrams werent capable of assimilating all of the information data had stored, it was like trying to put a 4 gig hardrive into an old apple model 1, it would be to advanced for it. It is possible though because he did start humming Blue Skies at the end of Nemesis.

maybe he could take little bits of the information slowly but it's not advanced ebough to take in all of the information..... its was just too old a model.......

yes your right but if he was programmed to evolve like Data then eventually he probably will be just like Data was or they will just make a new android to put the memories from Data into or something im guess

lol, thats what i said a few posts ago...... putting the memory into an android of the same make as Data....... but it wouldnt be the same....... it may have the memories....... but it never actually experienced them..... therefore he wouldnt really know what it was like, therefore forming a different personality.....

He might slowly become him, but it would be like in human standards, he would be considered a child now always asking why, he would evolve very slower than data did.

um heres an example of what might happen
people who have been in comas for a long time and have no memories...... people they knew.... slowly tell them bits and pieces of their old lives....... so they knwo what happened........ they person then knows a lot about themselves..... but can never be the same person again because they experienced new things.... different then the memories that they have been told off........ the person wouldnt be the same at all...... i different attitude and all
the same thing would happen with an android with Data's memories probably

I wouldn't like it if B-4 takes over Data's place... but it's better than having no android at all...

You guys make some valid points but fail to point out that B4 "HAS" all of Data's memories inside of him. The memory transfer was just that, a transfer. How he handles that information has yet to be seen but at the end of Nemesis, we see a glimmer of light, as he began to sing the song Data sang at Deanna and Will's wedding.
B4, though a prototype model, probably has about the same developmental capabilities as Data, and I'm sure Geordi will tinker with him as time progresses.

Good point... let's just hope they'll do it... but I don't think they're actually gonna make another movie. They all went their seperate ways now, right? Riker went to captain another starship, if I'm not mistaken.

The lox box office of Nemesis makes another TNG movie unlikely, and Patrick Stewart has said he's done being Picard.
However, a mixed-cast movie, possibly involving the Titan, is still a possibility.

I just have a feeling that the next ST movie will be TNG based, maybe not involving the whole crew, but I don't think TNG days are over just yet. TNG does after all have much more chance of getting a movie than ENT, DS9 and especially VOY.

That's what he said after Insurrection. What I'm seeing though is that Berman released it during Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. It didn't stand a chance.

riker would be captin and troi(now riker) would mabie be commander...

I think there won't be another movie with the TNG cast we know (Patrick Stewart is -understandable- no longer interested in playing Jean-Luc Picard- after so many years of doing this I understand that he wants to have a finish).
I think there will be either an ENT or DS9 movie OR a movie with mixed characters.

I can see a mixed movie, with the Enterprise with a new captain... maybe Picard's death will leave Riker in command after a shuffle... and leaves the door open for another "Nemesis".

Well, I agree it would not be the same without Data, but they have b-4, which means they will still habe Brent Spiner.
I hope they make a new TNG movie, and I think they will.
Cause I started writting a movie and I am gonna send it to Rick Berman....and if he likes it he hopefully will make it, if not then I am sure they will make a sequil to Nemesis.
Cause I think it would be a good idea. Or maybe I should write the sequil..... but I am not that gifted.

Well, the end with B-4 singing implied a follow-up. (Of course, many other semi-cliff hangers did also, and the follow up never happened) I hope they make one, though! I'd miss my Picard....
