Enemy Unknown: The Downfall Of Earth

Day 1
As Admiral Paris walked out of Starfleet HQ he suddenly got a stange feeling in his stomach as though something horrible and deadly would be coming. Little did he realize that he was right. He walked into the main briefing room of Starfleet HQ and when the Admiral saw the face of Captain Picard he knew that something..was coming. As Picard briefed the group on the new threat suddenly all of the lights went out and everything became silent, but not for long. As Paris heard cadets from the academy searching for familiar faces in the pitch black dark he was more worried about what was going on and when he felt a hand on his shoudler his first reaction was to turn around and punch whatever it was. However it was only Captain Picard looking just as worried as he was. "Admiral" he said in a hectic voice, "I dont have a good feeling about this at all, the only other time I felt this bad was when i was being assimilated." "Jean Luc" Paris said "We have never dealt with these beings before have we?" "No we havent" said Picard with intrigue "lets hope they arent too hostile."........5 Hours Later.........."Cadet get down!" as Paris said holding his phaser rifle "get down!" As the cadet went down the Admiral knew these aliens could not be stopped. While he searched for Picard he felt time closing in on him and the aliens stabbing and killing the ones who he loved. As he started to run faster he found Picard trapped in a small underground shelter with stockpiles of weapons. "Picard what are these aliens!" said Paris still trying to catch his breath. Then Picard turned around with a battered body from just one day of violence and said "Enemy unknown Admiral enemy unknown."
