The special effects from III and VI were great. The Enterprise self destructing in III, and blowing up the Klingons in VI. I also liked the dialogue in VI, when they are sitting around the table talking about Shakespeare.

I like Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn. It has the best plot. I also like VI.

Favorite TOS movie is Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country. By far the best Trek yet.

I have to say Star Trek II and Star trek VI are my favorites. Having a Cloaked Ship (Experimental Bird Of Prey) that can fire was awesome in that movie.

Like I said in another post. I like all of them, but V is what I watch least. I think VI is best though.

I like TMP, but I think they went a little "over the top" with the fx.

Here's why TMP was so slow-paced. They were getting VERY close to when it had to be released, just finally starting to slow down after the panic of making the movie.

Then they reviewed the finished product, and realized the FX company they had hired had totally screwed it up. So, they scrapped those effects, and hired two special effects companies to get it redone in time. However, having two companies meant the FX got loaded far too heavily into the film.
