Seeing as I can't really See DS9 or Voy being made into Films, I think all the new ST films should be based around a New Crew unfamiliar to the Public

What do you guys think?

hmmmm.....good point but not many people will likeit because we wouldn't know the crews background.

The series at the moment might have a film is enterprise (Archer) but with its recent failer to raise audiences this is very unlikely.

Voyager is also unlikely to have a film, Due to that many of the actors will not want to make a film (Robert Beltrain).

Ds9 is the best option so far.

For Pete's sake, GET OFF OF IT! Voyager wouldn't do that great in the Box office.

Now now, people, don't fight...fighting is bad! Fighting results in warnings, and I do so hate to give out those.
Personally, as I've said before, I'd like to see a DS9 movie where the entire mirror world concept could be addressed--that way you would have both Daxs in the same movie, and I personally think that would be intriguing.
Actually, Pah's concept sparks my interest. I think, if the movie was done right, you'd be able to get to know the characters simply by watching the movie. (After all, that's how most movies are made, isn't it?) It certainly would be more easier, I would think, to gather together a new cast on a new ship than to have to hunt down the casts of previous shows. That way, you could get new talent that would actually be eager to do a ST movie, versus old talent like Beltran who are tired of being deemed as Star Trek actors. The Trek saga would have a new outlet--suddenly we could have a movie crew, and another series crew, all at the same time. I think it'd be kinda cool.

How about a movie that takes place with students at the academy?

Maybe they could get away with killing off Chakotay, the rest of them would probably do it. I know Robert Duncan McNeill and Roxann Dawson were talking about it a a convention, how they would just make their own at someones house (it was a joke of course but heck, why not?)

That would be awesome. B'Elanna and Tom's relationship was what got me into Voyager in the first place. Ack...y'all make me want to go through my old Voyager tapes again!

A Voyager movie would rule!! I would be greatly overjoyed to see one come out
However, in reguard to the statement of killing Chakotay off, I would definately not be happy if they did that I would kill the person who killed him, no matter who it is, he is one of my favorite characters.

Gondor! Gondor, between the mountains and the sea
West wind blew there; the light upon the Silver Tree
Fell like bright rain in the gardens of the Kings of old
O proud walls! White towers! O winged crown and throne of gold...

We do not think there will be a Voyager movie. They have fulfilled their objective of returning to the Alpha Quadrant.
