Yeah, I heard that. And also that one of the only reasons that he agreed to reprise his role was because the gave him direction of the next film. Even though I didn't really like Spock, I liked the way that others interacted with him, like Kirk and McCoy.

I'd imagine pretty hard. What I really want to know is if he had them put "He's dead, Jim" on his tombstone like he talked about. That would be

Spock was supposed to have had an operation to have his ears changed until The Original Series was over.

I wonder how that would actually work and if it would hurt if it actually got pulled. You know? But then again he didn't like Spock.

Yeah, but he does now. Shatner was the same way w/ the character of Kirk, but they both got over it.

No, he didn't hate his character, but he made many derogatory comments about it, and he openly resented it for awhile.

Fame and fortune isn't everything. He also lost his first wife and his daughters during the filming of season three.

Why towards STAR TREK? I don't think he should hate star trek for his family's death.

They didn't die. The family broke up, and it was blamed primarily on the long hours he spent working on ST.

Um, why did you use the word "Lost" then. That normally means they died. And Star Trek episodes can't take that long to make.
