That is true. However, Pike's post is detailed enough that I think its acceptable. What would be unacceptable would be saying "ENT sucks" and leaving it at that.
I would encourage him to change the thread title himself, though.

What huh...I think I got the wrong place...
I think I like a mixture of all Treks...I like some of the characters from one series, some from another and the ship from an entirely different series. For example, I like the majority of the DS9 relaunch crew (I didn't actually care much for the crew whilst it was on TV) and the majority of the Voyager crew but prefer the Sovereign-class ship...so that kinda encapsulates several different aspects of Trek...I like Trek as a whole rather than individual series...

^Actually, this is the correct forum. Where else is he supposed to complain about Enterprise except in the Enterprise forum?
Just be glad he made a separate thread for it. That way, if you don't want to read it you just don't click the thread.

I understand that it can be distressing to have someone critisize a show that you enjoy. In fact, I've just come from debating the merits of Firefly on another board.
All I can say is, deal with it. If comments are posted which are clearly meant to be inflamatory, the moderators will take care of it. That is not the case here. Its just an opinion which happens to disagree with some of yours.

Well here's what I think if he doesn't like Enterprise he shouldn't complain to us about it he should make it a topic in Chit Chat instead of in here cause that way he won't get hurt. I understand why the kid doesn't like Enterprise I don't like it that much myself but im not complaining to anyone am I no im keeping it to myself so i don't make the people that like it mad at me. Kid all you are doing is causing a fight that your not going to win so i would just give it up and left it at that befor you make anybody else really mad at you ok. (that's just my thought)

It's so nice to see that we can all have personal opinions about something and not be attacked by the masses for our personal opinions...oh no wait that's not what is going on...I'm enjoying your flaming and personal attacks against my character for having an honest opinion.
BTW - This kid is most assuredly older than you....

I'd just like to say that this is the best Star Trek forum that I know of...
Btw, Enterprise finale just aired on SKY1 and season 2 will be shown on Channel 4 in July. Just for anyone who might be interested' I think I wrote this somewhere else in the forum as well...sorry if you've read this twice.

Enterprise was and still is a great opportunity for the fans to get see the beginning formation of the Federation. The creation of the fleet, the politics between us and the Volcans, the start of the Federation / Klingon war,Archer isn't even the Name of the first Captain. The first captain was Avery or Avrill or something like that. I was more interested in the creation of the federation and was hoping Enterprise would address that. But nooooooo we get those lame half baked stories. I know you want it to be a success we all do but as Startrek fans we owe it Roddenbury and Berman to be honest. It could be a hell of a lot better. Oh yeah you'll have to start reading the books to find out the first captains name. Iguess it wasn't cool enough. Right now all it is is another version of the original series and the next generation.
"let's see what's out there" give me a break we've already seen it!
