Yeah, when Starfleet began. Before holodecks, forcefields, even phasers! A lone ship, making due with what they have, exploring a hostile universe.
Oh, wait. None of that applies to Enterprise. It was a good premise, but Enteprise just hasn't been following it faithfully.

3 out of 10. I was very dissapointed with Enterprise (I see it every week though) It lacks something startrek, the storylines are often poor and i think the only really decent episode was the first. I really wanted to like it but ive lost faith recently because of this and Nemesis (i didnt feel anything startrekky when i saw nemesis). However Startrek is still Startrek and ill continue to watch Enterprise until it ends.

I rated 'Enterprise' a "1" because it killed Trek, even at the box office. |
1. Trek (except TOS) shows always have bad writing at the beginning. Just look how horrible The Next Generation was in its first season.
2. How the hell can you blame Enterprise for Nemesis' failure at the box office? If anything Enterprise is attracting new fans, B&B are right about the words "Star Trek" turning people off to the show, and the Nemesis proves it. The low ratings are a result of bad writing, however, but that will change soon, hopefully.

thats a good point. The word "STAR TREK" is a steriotype, of a big nerd who is a lozer. and people who watch it are attomatically put into that catgory. Since they didnt include "Star Trek" in Enterprise, it innically drew new fans because it looked intrestion. People stoped watching because of the bad writting. I still think it is a good show, but I think i do only watch it because it gives me insite into the Star Trek world.

I'm going to go with the Thumbs down on Enterprise. First of all, the theme song just gives a bad first impression. Especially since all of the rest of the Trek series have sort of a classical theme song, with out somebody singing some queer lyrics. Second... the acting is just really bad. Everyone on that show is a bad actor, I don't know where the producers dug up this cast. definatly low on my Trek favorites
