They got together before the series started, When Riker was stationed on Betazed, and then they happened to be both put on the Enterprise, no episode.

You may be thinking of "Second Chances", in which Tom Riker got with Deanna. I haven't seen that one yet, though.

Or perhaps "Insurrection"?

I dont believe that there was an episode, it happened befor they were posted on the Enterprize, if you want to know more you can read the book, Star Trek, The Next Generation; Imzadi. by Peter David It tells the whole story, its really interesting. [/u]

I've read the book and you're right. It explains the whole story in a lot of detail.
