Does the NX-01 run on the original warp scale, or the modified scale?

Technically speaking, it *should* run on the original scale. However, don't count on the folks in charge even knowing there's a difference.

I'm pretty sure that it runs on the TOS scale. Intresting question. *checks websites*

1) It didn't take them a day to get back, or did it, I dunno.
2) Whoever said that they went in a straight line, never going backwards...

I just hate it when people I know are smart, and use the wrong tense, term, or phrase. Or when Dumb people pretend to act smart. That (censored word) me off.

Yeah, but 5 times the speed of light, or that whole equation with light speeds and such.

Definately faster than that, or it would have taken the better part of a year to get from Earth to the closest star.

According to the TNG scale, Warp 5 is 214 times the speed of light. I suspect its somewhat less by the TOS scale.

Warp 5 is their top speed, but I don't know how long they can sustain it. . . he just said so in the last re-run episode. . .

Oh, and someone clearly made an error in "Broken Bow". By either warp scale, there's no way they could get from Earth to Qo'nos in four days at Warp 5. If you do that math, that puts the Klingon Homeworld less than a lightyear from Earth. There isn't even a star that close.

Well, have we explored the conduit theory mentioned on ditl? Perhaps there is a conduit between Earth and Qo'nos?
