 Reporters on TV
 Show protesters in the street
Someone burns a flag to show just how they feel

Well I just can't believe my eyes
As they spit on the stars and stripes
How can anyone feel that way for real

So if no one's taken time to tell you lately
Here's a message that you should be hearin' daily

 Chorus

Thank You - Army troops in tan and green
 Navy, Air Force and Marines
Thank You - for doin' what you do
For the Red, White and Blue

Thank You - every time you take up arms
It's to keep us safe from harm
And to keep this country free

 Thank You

 War is not the answer
Reads a big sign in the yard
Of some takers of this free life that we're livin'

Now we all have a choice
The right to raise our voice
But what about those brave hearts out there givin'

So if no one's taken time to tell you lately
Here's a message that you should be hearin' daily

 Chorus

Thank You - Green Berets and Navy Seals
And all you Soldiers in the field
Thank You - full time and reserve
You don't get what you deserve

Thank You - every time you take up arms
It's to keep us safe from harm
And to help somebody get free

 Thank You

I 100% beleive this song. People putting their lives on the line every day for us, and no one even seems to care.

				| as much as i hate wars....... id have to agree
if some1 takes up arms and gives their lives to keep you safe, they deserve every little bit of respect you can give them......

this makes me remeber a joke a commedian said

"whats with this controversy about letting gay people into the army? i dont agree, i think they should be let in...... if the guy is willing to take up arms for me to keep me safe, what business is it of mine what he does with her personal life....... he could be banging chimps on the weekend for all i care."

				| That makes me feel sad. beause it's true, a lot of people don't understand that people give their lives for the life that we live. They do deserve more respect.
