What are your opinions on the book?
I liked it, thought it was great.
My favorite part was that Seven and Chakotay did not stay together.

Seven says that she needs to find herself and that they should not stay together.
Also the book hints to Janeway and Chakotay getting back together later.
Janeway asks Chakotay to call her Kathryn (since she's not his captain anymore)
and he responds, You'll always be Captain to me.
and she says (very seriously) "I hope not".

I'm thinking of getting it but I have several other books to read first; Star Wars X-Wing series, Voyager Dark Matters Trilogy, Seven of Nine and Starfleet Year 1. But I'll probably get it after I've finished these. Out of 100 how would you say it scored?

I would say an 85, because it was a little depressing at points. But everything else was GREAT !!!
The Voyager Dark Matter Trilogy is good to. Enjoy

unfortunatly that's all that happens in this book. But I'm hoping they move forward in the next !!

The UK edition is paperback as far as I know; I'm not sure about the edition where you are.
I bought the Dark Matters trilogy last week on eBay. I finished the first book a couple of days ago and thought it was pretty good. I think I like Christie Golden's stories the best of all the Voyager books. She's the author of Homecoming as well isn't she?

Thanks, I've just ordered it...it should arrive on Monday apparently...now I've got 2 days to finish Dark Matters - a book a day....hmmmmm somehow I don't think I'm going to make the deadline lol.

Me to, she's my favorite Voyager author.
That's why I have faith that Homecoming will turn out great.

Well I found Endgame with the homecoming preview in the book shop today and I loved what I've read so far.

Yes Mosaic and Pathways were well written to.
Is it true that in Pathways the Hardcover has more in it then the paperback book?
Because I only have the paperback version.

I believe that is so although I do not know for sure; like you, I have the paperback version...
I couldn't believe it when it said about Janeway wearing rings..I was like since when does she wear rings...but I guess that was explained in the story lol.

Well I'm only about half way through and whilst it is good, I do not think it is as good as the opening DS9 relaunch books, "Avatar" IMO...

Finished it the other day. While it wasn't bad, I was expecting more. Perhaps that's because the fanfic at vv8.jetc.org covered pretty much all the same issues Homecoming did, with the notable exception of the Borg virus, it felt like I was re-reading something rather than seeing it for the first time.
Maybe The Farther Shore will be better.
