What would happen if...
You went to warp in a planet (or rather, the atmosphere of a planet)
You went to warp through a star

Your ship will be destroyed at the moment of impact...

Impact into/on what?
Edit:
About the through a star one: Something happened to a ship in Lost in Space, and went to HYPERSPACE through the sun, creating a wormhole. could the same rules apply to the second question?

No, I don't think so. I think that the ship would be vapourised when it would hit the sun.
I don't see how a worm hole would be 'created'. How would the ship create a worm hole out of going warp speed through a sun.

Besides, if I was commanding a starship, I would go around stars

There was an episode in ST:Voyager where the Ferengi had enticed Voyager to use some sort of energy pulse to manipulate a hole for them to go through. But something like the geosydic radiation was too dangerous and everyone would be dead, etc.

I know the episode your talking about. They wanted Voyager, and 7 of 9's nanoprobes. They talked something along the lines of, modifying the deflector and producing a pulse toward a red star, and then, on the opposite side, the exact opposite galactic co-ordinates, another ship would do the same thing. Theoretically, it would create a wormhole. But of course, lethal radiation, extreme temperatures.
Besides, how would that work? I don't think it could, honestly. Maybe, if theres some kind of linkage between stars, possibly, but at the exact opposite side of the galaxy....come on.

but Lost in Space has nothing to do with startrek
so you would be destroyed or vaporised on impact like PrankishSmart said.

*revives thread*
Many people whom I talk to believe that, if a starship were to hit a planet at warp speed, the following would occur:
- The ship would make impact.
- Since the ship is traveling at a very, very fast speed, it would act much like a bomb digging into the ground, but with a much more devestating effect: the ship would go through the planet, coming out on the other side.
- Upon exiting the other side of the planet, the ship would be nothing more than a few pieces of metal and some stray atoms, if it wasn't vaporized.
- The planet would be pretty much history.

Why do you think that the planet would be history? What if it were just a small ship?

^I am guessing that if the vessel had enough kinetic energy it *might* nudge the planet out of orbit. I am not sure about vaparise, though.

A ship going at 25% of light speed without a deflector would be ripped to shreds...in the vaccuum of space because there are still particles floating around here and there. (I can't remember where I heard that though...)
Now, imagine going thousands of times the speed of light in an atmosphere (you may exit the atmosphere fast enough not to cause any damage...but who knows).
Yup.

If you go at Transwarp it is possible to go through the other side without damaging the planet.

Well that's if you use transwarp, but at regular warp I agree with Prank on: it may be possible to move a planet out of its natural orbit with enough kenetic energy but other and that I don't think anything else would happen...well aside from a couple hundred people being atomized but that's not that important.......
