I keep forgetting to tape the Animatrix when its on on a night. I wondered if it was worth getting the DVD? I saw the second Matrix film and thought it was fantastic...

Emm Well contrary to popular belief only one Animatrix episode which is "The Final flight of the osiris" is actually digitally animated the rest are Manga/Anime and they're directed by tons of diferent ppl (Including the rugrats director lol) I'd say they r worth buying and i Hate Manga I just love the matrix

My roommate bought the DVD today. I've only seen the first clip. I don't really know much about the animatrix DVD, but I understand that each clip is done by different people?

9 clips by 7 different directors, or something like that.

Yeah you're Right

The Episodes are-
Final Flight of the Osiris-The Story of how Zion discovered the Sentinals were Attacking.
Second Renaissance parts 1-2-The Origins of the Matrix.
Kid's Story-The stupid Kid from the film who got saved by Neo's story.
Program-A story about a Simulation.
World Record-The story of an Athlete who discovered the Matrix by accident.
Beyond-The story of a glitch in the Matrix.
A Detective story-The story of a detective searching for Trinity.
Matriculated-A story of how Sentinals and other robots can be coverted to work for the Humans.

The Finla Flight of the Osiris is my Favourite as it is Digitally animated by Square (The Final Fantasy company)

Well I bought the DVD and thought that the first few episodes were pretty good, particulary the Osiris one. Others such as "World Record" just seemed very odd though lol.

It got me thinking I wonder where the creators of the Matrix got their ideas from; I mean it's a pretty original concept. They must have pretty wild imaginations...or then again, perhaps its just my dull imagination making theirs seem better...

Well I'm rambling now so I better shut up...

A great DVD is this.

My favourite is Detective Story, closely followed by Beyond. They're all great though.

Yeah, some people have pretty wild imaginations (not me).

I really have to get them some day. Like I said, no store sells good films over here...
