Their only appearance was in the pilot, where you see the battle of Wolf 359. (This is the same battle that was in BOBW----however, here you actually see it, not just the aftermath.)

Other than that, they never appeared. They were mentioned a few times: the Defiant was designed to be used against the Borg, and eventually was (in First Contact).

They find a crashed Borg ship in the fourth Mission Gamma book but it depends whether you count the novels as being canon if you're gonna count that...

^DS9 didn't need to use the Borg to prop up spotty writing and fill holes in a 26 episode season like Voyager did.

I agree although I used to think a Borg attack on the station would be cool...Sort of like, half the episode being the build up to its arrival (ie. calling fleets in, etc etc) and the latter part being about stopping it....

Well you can see why I don't make any scripts for sci fi shows lol.

The Borg sort of made an appearance in one of the other books....Tempest, I think. The wormhole is temporarily unsafe due to nearby plasma storms, and a ship coming through from the Gamma quadrant is destroyed.

Dax uses a computer model to reconstruct what the ship looked like....a cube.

Borg drama is way over used. Thank you Paramount for not having a Ds9 borg episode.

it would have been nice to have seen the borg in the actual shows but they did give us the Dominion instead Voyager never had them to deal with

The book was called Lesser Evil.

I don't think I've read that one, Lindley. I'm scouring eBay as we speak although no sign of it yet...

ive only seen about 30 ds9 episodes ( all of them were good but i never saw a shot fired from the station) and i think a borg vs DS9 would be a very cool action seen, may b even rivaling the first contact battle.

I don't know, I mean, a stationary target, versus a borg cube. You'd have to have some good camera angles...

If done right it could look very good. I know what you mean about the camera angles hence my suggestion of putting a few ships in there as well. eg. camera uses tracking shots to follow ships through the battle, etc, etc.

A few places, but not a lot.

Seasons 1-3 are out on DVD, but its kind of expensive that way. Supposedly TNN is going to show DS9 starting in 2004, but since its changing its image/name to Spike TV, I'm not sure if that's still happening.

Yeah they did...

I think the Dominion and especially the Jem Hadar are the best and most developed antagonistic element in the Star Trek universe.

The Dominion kicked ass, because there was an infinite army of them, and the Federation had to get with all the people they've had problems with before, and beat some Jem Hadar ass togethor!

Also there was this one ep where it had a crashed borg ship come through the worm hole but it made it to DS9 in like 100 parts. Someone plz confirm this.
