Moonlight Bay (PG-13)

Chapter 23: Identity crises

A few hours later the tactical unit and the military team have returned to the base the unit is offline Professor Clyde meets the plane at the hanger and is there when the plane�s door opens up.

Professor Clyde: �What happened?�

Mission Captain: �I don�t know sir some reason he just went off and attacked some people that were raping a woman it seems like he still has a concense.�

Professor Clyde: �Impossible he is a finely tuned killing Machine he doesn�t think anything unless we tell him to.�

Mission Captain: �Well you better fix him I will not let him on another mission until you have him fixed.�

Some solders enter the plane and remove the unit in a cold unit to keep his temp down to 50 degrees they take him to a room that looks like it was built around him they hook numerous cords and needles into him his eyes are close like he�s asleep but he is not.

Professor Clyde: �Did he get the weapon?�

Mission Captain: �Yes here it is sir.�

The captain hands Clyde the weapon it looks like a shotgun but it�s more advanced.

Professor Clyde: �Its amazing the Government never came back for this with this our unit will be almost unstoppable.�

The captain leaves and Clyde walks over to the unit and looks at him.

Professor Clyde: �Now why did you disobey orders?�

Clyde runs scans of the units brain waves.

Professor Clyde: �Hmm it looks like we are having a dream this isn�t good.�

Clyde looks at the unit and sees him jerking his head and breathing heavy like he is in a dream in the dream he sees a blond hair woman she is over him and she is smiling at him like she knows him she than kisses him than the next image is of him on a balcony being shot than falling to his death the minute he hits the ground the unit wakes up.

Tactical Unit 1: (voice sounding more robotic than human) �Ahhhhhh ahhhhh.�

Several Scientist�s enter and take their stations.

Professor Clyde: �What�s happening?�

Scientist 1: �I don�t know sir it seems he�s having a seizure of some kind.�

The Tactical Unit is jerking around and acts like he is in pain.

Scientist 2: �His brain waves are becoming erratic it�s like he�s waking up.�

Professor Clyde grabs a needle with a black liquid in it and Jams it into the Units Heart the unit stops shaking and looks like he�s dead. Clyde walks back to the unit and looks at him. Than the Unit jumps awake and grabs Clyde by the Throat and squeezes than throws him against one of the computer units.

Tactical Unit 1: �Ahh what�s happening to me?� (His voice distorted by the implants in his throat)

The unit starts to tear the needles out of him along with the hoses he is toatly nude the scientist�s don�t try anything the unit scans them than runs out of the room. Professor Clyde pushes a button on the wall.

Professor Clyde: �The unit has escaped all Military personal gear up and subdue him I want him alive don�t destroy him.�

The unit is running though endless halls looking around trying to find a way out he comes across some solders and they try to apperhand him but he ends up killing four of them he finally makes his way out of the base and jumps over a fence and runs into the darkness.

Captain: �I will have the unit ready to apperhand him asap how are we going to hide the fact there is a Naked man with Cybernetic implants running around a town that you have built?�

Professor Clyde: �Don�t worry we will handle the situation when the need arises.�

The unit runs into Moonlight bay and isn�t winded at all he arrives at a motel it seems hauntingly familiar he walks in one of the desk clerks sees him and her eyes widen it�s not often you see a naked man walk into the place you work but this isn�t just any man he has it looks like devices all over his body except his head. He walks into the elevator and pushes one of the buttons by luck he ends up on the same floor that Jeff and Susan use to reside at. He enters the same suite and looks around he walks over to a mirror and has another flash of memory it�s of a guy looking at a woman who is sitting in front of the mirror she is putting on makeup she is in only her bra and panties he hugs her they than kiss than it�s gone the unit is looking in the mirror and tries to remember more but he can�t than the unit gets upset and starts to destroy the room he over turns the bed and sees a picture it�s of the woman and guy he remembered on the back it says.

Jeff,
I have something to tell you it will make you happy I know it did me.

Susan

The Unit reads the note on the back of the picture and thinks to himself.

The Unit (Thinking): �They were in love they must have been very happy.�

The Unit places the picture on the dresser and grabs a guy who was walking in the hallway and steals his clothing and dresses up he is in a white tank top and black jean shorts he grabs the picture and puts it in his pocket when he leaves the motel and runs into 15 solders they try to shoot tazers at him but he gets away from it he engages them and after a minute he kills seven of them and injure the rest of them he runs away into the darkness meanwhile on the top floor.

Jeremy: �What�s going on Dear?�

Susan: �There was a fight out there looks like someone got away into the forrest by the motel.� Susan than thinks to herself. �He looked so familiar do I know him?�

Chapter 24: Heat Stroke

The tactical unit has runned into the Forrest that is by the motel he keeps running but he doesn�t know where he is going after running for about 50 minutes the unit falls down he realized he is sweating extremely that he needs to cool down or he could die he gets up and stagers around in the Forrest after awhile he comes up to a small minute mart by the highway it�s closed he tries to open up the door but it�s locked he ends up breaking out one of the windows. Meanwhile, back at the base.

Worker: �Sir the tactical unit�s heat chip has activated he is at passing out level he is within 10 miles of the town.�

Professor Clyde: �Triangulate try to find him.�

Worker: �Yes sir.�

The tactical unit enters the minute mart and looks around there is only one freezer unit it�s filled with ice cream the unit pulls out all the ice cream and turns the unit all the way onto 10 than lays in it and closes the top he closes his eyes and falls asleep.

Worker: �Professor his chip said that two minutes ago that he was registering at 102.5 he is into the dead stage but just a minute ago his temp has dropped down to 65.�

Professor Clyde: �If he drops below 60 the chip will kick off triangulate and find him now.�

Worker: �I am sir.�

The unit is out cold for 30 minutes while his systems cool down but he is awaken by noises from outside he opens up the freezer and looks out the window it�s the solders that he fought before but more of them probably around 40 the unit gets up and gets out of the freezer he than runs out of the minute mart he continues to run in the process kills one of the solders that tried to grab him the solders open fire he takes at least 10 shots in the back he continues to run but keeps getting shot after a few minutes he arrives at a road he sees a vehicle way down the road coming to him he is bloody from all the shots he took after a minute the vehicle comes into viewing distance it�s a jeep he flags the jeep down as it stops he passes out blood is all over the person comes out and helps him into the Jeep it than speed. away. A few hours later the unit wakes up and finds himself in a cabin in the woods its dark there is a fan blowing on him and the windows are open he tries to get up but a woman comes over and keeps him down.

Woman: �No you need to stay down and rest you been badly hurt.�

The unit passes out again.

Chapter 25:Victoria

The unit is still out and his temp is still rising the woman has three fans blowing on him but its not helping.

Tactical Unit: �Do you have a freezer?� (Asking weakly)

Woman: �Yes I do.�

She runs to a huge freezer in the back of the house.

Woman: �Please forgive me grams.�

The woman pulls everything out of the freezer and drags the unit into the freezer and closes the door she sets the cold factor to 10 the unit is deep asleep there is a knock at the door.

Woman: �Who could that be this time at night?�

She opens the door and sees several solder�s.

Woman: �Can I help you?�

Unit Captain: �We are looking for a escaped person he would have been injured have you seen him?�

Woman: �No, no I haven�t I�ll let you know if I see him though.�

Unit Captain: �What�s your name I would like to contact you if we need to talk to you again.�

Woman: �Victoria, Victoria Winters.�

Unit Captain: �Thank you Miss Winters for your corporation.�

Victoria runs into the back of the house and opens up the freezer the unit is gone she is surprised than a hand goes around her mouth it�s the unit he doesn�t want her to yell he than lets her go after telling her it�s him.

Victoria: �Who in the hell are you I just had the army asking about you are you a criminal?�

Tactical Unit: �I don�t know.�

Victoria: �Fine Im going to turn you in I don�t need this trouble right now.�

Victoria goes to make the call but before she can a smoke bomb comes though the window.

Chapter 26: Cold Reality and Whiskey part one

Just as the smoke bomb enters the house the tatical unit grabs his head.

Tatical Unit: "Ahh whats going on?"

All of a sudden a person opens his eyes.

Doctor: "I think he is finally comming out of it."

The person is looking around confused theres a woman looking at him she is smileing.

Woman: "Welcome back Jeff you been asleep for so long."

Jeff: "Who are you?"

Woman: "Im Josi your wife you been in a coma for 6 years."

Jeff looks at a mirror and sees himself but he has a beard on.
