The ImpStar would win through sheer numbers. A standard ImpStar has 40 turbolasers *on each flank*, in addition to several proton torpedo launchers. A Galaxy-class has only four phaser strips and two torpedo launchers. Add to that, an Impstar is heavily armored, while a Galaxy is fairly helpless once its sheilds are down.
However, it would be a rough fight for both sides.

same here. A Star Destroyer could fire all it's turbolaser's in severe repatition and hit hundreds of places. a Galaxy can only hit one place with it's phasers, but it takes a minute, even if it threw in a payload of torpedoes the Galaxy class would lose.

I know the impstar would win, but if it were a TV show, obviously the galaxy class would win, because they would find some weakness, or something like that...........anywayz, i'm just blabbing.....THE IMPERIALSTARDESTROYER WOULD WIN!

No, it was only seen in the TNG finale. We saw several Galaxy-class ships in DS9, and lots of other classes, but never a 3-nacell ship.
However, one of those ships is the focal point of Star Trek: Hidden Frontier. Its based about equally off a ship and a station.

I thought they had it in DS9 at some point anyway, in the TNG finale the Galaxy X was commaded by Admiral Riker.

Star Destroyer...for reasons already stated. But Mainly because even if it DID loose its shields it got armor plating "as thick as Han's skull".
But the Galaxy would out manuver it...
