Before people answer this question, let me tell you all that I want cannon facts, not people’s opinions. Opinions don't work in this world.
Right...
Someone told me that matter cannot attain full light speed, because the fuel requirements would increase exponentially and the objects mass would increase exponentially also.
Can someone clarify? Preferably someone who knows that they know what they are talking about...hehe...

The warp field changes the laws of physics that we know of now?
Nah, I don't know, I would have to look it up or construct my own theorys.

As you approach the speed of light, your mass becomes infinite and you need an infinite amount of energy blah blah blah.....but, light is photons, and photons have a mass and if light (forgive the ignorance of this next statement) travels at the speed of light, every time we turned on the light, wed be killed because the photons hitting us would have an infinite mass and therefore penetrate us. So once they can sort this contradiction out, we'll be able to travel at lightspeed!

When matter and anti-matter collide, you dont get plasma!

^thats a good poing. That is a recent finding that light has mass.

| What made no sense? How recent is recent? Well how long is a piece of string? EG, if a human lived for 200 years that would be long, but if a star went supernova after 200 years that would be short. Hence the question how recent is recent? Come on Los, use your head mate!
