|
earth final conflict was a geen rodonbery idea but his wife ( cince he died ) was head of the series she even played in it for a wile but it seems like nobody seemes to talk about it much, ( it was a geen rodonbery idea) and for the people that have seen it what do you like more startrek ( any of the serises) or earth final conflict

I haven't seen it. Only Andromeda which is a Roddenberry idea too.

Andromeda started out good, and went downhill fast. Most people agree that only the first season was "good". The rest is either just watchable, or downright bad.
Earth: Final Conflict is the same story. Only the first season is *really* based on GR's ideas----the writing staff completely changed for the second season and they only kept the "Gene Roddenberry's" part of the name as a ratings thing. That said, EFC *did* managed to stay pretty good through season 4. S2-S4 aren't as good as S1, but they're entertaining. Season 5, of course, is a train wreck which has nothing to do with the "real" show.

^Personally, I don't compare Scifi shows----at least not in the "either/or" sense. I judge each SF show individually, and watch it if I like it. For example, Babylon 5 is a better series overall than 90% of what Trek's put out, but that doesn't mean that I don't watch Trek------it just means that watching B5 becomes a special treat.
