04.09.03 UPN Releases Info on Final Episodes

Further confirmation that Enterprise is about to take a slightly altered course next season arrived via a press release from UPN this week that reveals information not only for the Star Trek show, but the other UPN shows and their respective sweeps episodes and finales as well. For information on the other UPN shows, please check the link below.

Before we get to the finale, a couple of upcoming episodes have fans talking already. If you don't want any spoilers about the remaining episodes this season, then stop reading now. Sweeps information follows:

Wednesday, April 30, "Cogenitor" : The Enterprise crew encounters a humanoid race whose mating ritual requires a mnage trois of genders, but in this society, the "third gender" suffers from extreme discrimination, which troubles Trip as he decides to take matters into his own hands.

Wednesday, May 7, "Regeneration": Humans discover Borg drones buried deep in the Arctic Circle, but when they seize control of a vessel, only Archer and the crew of Enterprise can stop them from returning to "The Collective" and prevent a full scale attack on Earth.

Wednesday, May 14, "First Flight": While Enterprise is investigating what appears to be a dark matter nebula, Archer receives news that A.G. Robinson, his old rival in the early days of the NX test program, has died. During a shuttlepod mission into the dark matter phenomenon, Archer reminisces to T'Pol about the time he and Robinson were pilots competing for the honor of being the first to break the Warp 2 barrier. Airs at 8:00 p.m.

"Bounty": Following at 9:00 p.m., the second episode of the evening sees Archer get kidnapped by a bounty hunter who is returning him to the Klingon homeworld to face punishment for escaping from their prison. Meanwhile, a virus causes T'Pol to prematurely experience severe symptoms of Pon Farr, the Vulcan mating cycle in which she has to mate or else die. When her aggressive advances on various male crew members become problematic, it forces them to find a solution.

Wednesday, May 21, "The Expanse": Season Finale A mysterious and deadly force emerges from the far reaches of the universe threatening to destroy all of humanity, and Enterprise, the only Earth vessel with the ability and technology to track down this new menace and confront it, sets out on its new mission.

UPN calls it an "explosive, can't-miss season finale" that sets up a "new direction for Enterprise and its crew."

All times are 8:00 p.m. PDT/EDT (except where indicated)

I don't have any problems with it's direction now. I think the show is pretty entertaining. If Enterprise was on air at the time TNG was showing, I would be watching Enterprise.
