Hehe, you might find this exciting! All computers use binary language. That means they only have 2 states: 1 and 0, on or off etc etc. Now the way forward is to ditch transistors and think of something else. The most promising way I heard research was going into was Quantum Computing. Basically this was looking at particles with different quantum states (for those of you that dont know what a quantum is, its a small change in energy) They found that particles (photons i think) sometimes exist simultaniously with 2 quantum states. In theory, since you can represent on and off at the same time, that means infinite processing speed! Apparently the biggest problem was error checking, but at least its a start!
