I saw on the knews recently that protesters who were against the war were arrested. They weren't rioting or doing anything wrong, just protesting against the war and stating their own opinion. What's up with that? Also in the New York paper...I think it was New York, there was a list of Celebrities that didn't support the war and they were called Suddam lovers. They also told people not to support the celebrities. I just felt this was VERY VERY stupid. Especially for American's.

They were blocking traffic in the street and causing public disturbance.

Many were also getting violent, the police DO NOT arrest people unless laws are being broken, I know this as a fact! And I have been watching this situatiuon on TV, those idiots were making a mess.

As for the Newspaper --- That's freedom of press. Plus, the hollywood idiots ARE Sadam lovers. Sean Penn for instance, who is a treasonist, went to Iraq to comfort the enemy troops.

It's good to see right being done in the United States.

It's clear you can't take a second opinion. I've met alot of people like you who, if anything is said about your country you immediately dismiss it because "it's not possible!" You have to be open minded, i'm not saying i'm right but your country isn't perfect, no country is.

I'm open minded. I just opened up, and realized that when people cause disturbance, they need to be dealt with.

I don't like unruly protestors ::PERIOD::! Rather than going out and acting like arses, go do something to help a cause. Go volunteer at a homeless shelter, pick up litter. BE A USEFUL MEMBER OF SOCIETY rather than making a mess for the rest of them.

And as open minded as I am, I was open minded enough to appreciate what this country has done for me, I was also open minded enough to show my respect to it for those things which it has done. I owe everything to America, and it's closed minded people like those in New York today, who like to blame everything on Bush, America, and anyone else they can, EXCEPT for the real problem (because god forbid they pick up a weapon and fight for what's RIGHT!) who don't realize it!

I'm sick of people being so 'closed minded' that they don't realize who and what they owe thanks to for a lot more than even life itself.

And no, our country is not perfect. BUT IT'S DOING WHAT'S RIGHT! And it's been one of the best all along.

Ah, finally I kinda agree. I agree about some protesters. There are the ones who actually do something to change. And then there are the followers who just go along because "It's Cool" and maybe they'll get the chance to be on tv or something. That really pisses me off.

LightningBoy, you are an excellent example of the people I hate most.

They are called arrogant americans.

You truly believe that everything The "Divided States of Embarrasment" does is right?
If you do, which it seems that you do, you're *beep* up, man.

I suggest you take back this statement.

Consider this a warning.

It's not a threat, it's a warning. And, show me the link where Swedes were "made fun of", and it'll be dealt with. Or are you just blowing smoke again?

well if we aren't allowd to protest thats like saying we aren't entitled to have our own opinion and even if we can we aren't allowd to voice it so we might as well not have one at all and thats wrong this is a free country or at least its suposed to be

No one is saying no protests. They are saying you can't block businesses, or intersections and tie up traffic all day. That is not helping anyone.

Or even worse, take over control towers at airfields, sit on runways that kind of crap. If you do that, I swear I'll stop the plane after landing and walk up to you with a Baseballbat.

People do not realise they endanger peoples lives with actions like that.

THAT is not true. Cops are only arresting those causing trouble. In the "sue happy" world we live in, they sure as hell know better.

If and when the United States ACTUALLY DOES something I find wrong, then I'll admit it. Yes, Vietnam was a mistake alltogether. But that's about the only page of my history I regret

Yes. Undoubtably.

More lives were saved than lost. You might say we could've nuked off their coast to let them see the power we had, but they did'nt surrendur after one attack, what makes you think they would've any other way.

It was sad, but the best descision at the time.
