There is no sound in space..... So you can't be able to hear photon blasts on ships. but as i said, startrek would be boring without this little "Bug", hehehe..

I completely agree, I mean, without all the sounds, battles would be much more boring, I love hearing the sounds of phasers and the red alert siren, etc.

You would be able to hear things going on inside the ship, just not outside.
So your little red alert thing would still make noise  .

|
there is something about the red alert alarm that sounds good, I mean compared to my school's fire alarm, mine sounds like a duck quacking very loudly and it's quite annoying, I like the sound of the red alert on starships, ok I know that sounded kind of weird
