Why's it gotta be about the black man? What about the Puerto Rican?

Hmmm I agree he doesn't seem to get much to talk about but apparently theres an episode which involves him going back to his old freighter or something coming up?????? Maybe that'll be the start of his character being given a little more depth.

I wasn't aware of the Avery / Berman thing but what can be said about racisim in the next Generation was the lack of it in the two parter when Data goes back in time and meets Guynan who was having a great time having philosophical debates in a room full of white people during a time when African Americans couldn't even drink from the same water fountain. They could have made a great statement about how far mankind had come but they blew it.
As far as Mayweather is concerned he did go back home and help his family fight off some bandits I think they were bandits but they were probably just a bunch of punks allowing a cargo freighter to beat them down.

Well...It might be racism behind it. I dont thnk so, though. Red Quacker, I think you've got this idea based on assumptions. There's nothing wrong with that. But I also get the feeling that you're not willing to change your view.
