they havent said its the last season and until MGM and the stargate production team say otherwise im happy to believe the possibility of a season 8.

^True enough. But with a theatrical movie and spinoff series (Stargate: Atlantis) being virtual certainties, I'm not sure they'd *want* to do another season. As it is, the movie was originally going to follow season 6. They pushed it back when S7 was greenlighted.

^No, you're thinking of Stargate: Infinity. Infinity is bad (and totally non-canon). Stargate: Atlantis will be set up in the movie, and it won't start before that happens.

I'm approaching the end of season 4. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to see season 5, since UPN won't be restarting it for a while yet.

well they do season 5 on dvd but not in boxset form their showing repeats of season 5 on sky 1 and on channel 4 but i think it depends where you live really.

Its not on DVD in Region 1, only region 2.

i tell u what my dad watches taken and i havent seen a full episode until now and the first time i decided to watch a full episode i sat down with my dad and found it really boring
