There's nothing wrong with the ship being named Voyager. It's still in the Federation.

If they had named it Enterprise, what would they have done w/ Picard's Enterprise? They would have had to give him a whole new ship, or send him into the Delta Quadrant, and we would never have seen Janeway's crew. I think that it worked out just fine. Like DS9.

I think it's great that they named the ship Voyager. They need to explore new ideas, get out for a little fresh air.

it is a nice name, and I don't think I would have liked to see the TNG crew in another series. They needed something new.

I say that Voyager was a good name for the ship. Though it's kind of ironic the have to "voyage" across space and time. Just thought that kind of denoted the adventure....don't hurt me. ::quivers in fear::

i'm glad that it wasn't named enterprise with picard cause then Star Trek VIII & Star Trek IX would not have taken place ot they would have been different because the enterprise would have been in the delta qudrant, or they would have gotten home alot sooner and then they could have kept the movies the same but the series would be to short. VOYAGER IS FINE!!!!!!!!!

Is there a John Luck Picard here.

Ahem.. I do NOT think so. DS9 was a awesome series... It had great cast and writers. People need to give that series more credit.. It did good. or atleast managed to stay on the air for 7 years.
